June Bug
/June’s inmate trainer says that Christmas with June was wonderful and that she’s been a true blessing in his life. He says that June is not one to give her trust and affection easily. She’s made her inmate trainer earn every ounce of trust she has in him. Because of this it has been a joy to watch her personality slowly come alive. Every day her trainer gets to see a little more from June. He says that sometimes its just an extra tail wag that wasn’t there the day before or her excitement over toys or other dogs that makes this such a wonderful experience! Her inmate trainer says that they’re not supposed to turn the dogs into mushy love hounds, but in this case June is turning her trainer into mush!
June is a sweet, gentle, and delicate girl that people can’t help but to stop and notice her. He says that you can’t help but fall in love with her when you look into her beautiful eyes.
Her training is coming along very nicely. This past week they worked on heel, bed, and sit. Heel is her best command so far and bed is well understood. Now, she takes her time sniffing and circling at first before following through with the bed command. She performs sit with just the lightest touch behind her legs. Soon she’ll be performing with no direction needed!
June loves food so they get the most learning accomplished before meal times. She is a very social girl and she loves to be around the other dogs. Her kennel training and leash etiquette are stellar! She responds really well to her name and will even recall from 30 feet!
Her inmate trainer says that both he and June are learning from each other and he’s enjoying his time with this sweet girl. Her new nickname is June Bug and her trainer says it fits her really well!
