Ready to Love!

It's the start of another 10-week session for Second Chance Greyhound's here at Jenkin. This trainer was lucky enough to receive a beautiful light red female with the race name of Plumbers Fanny, which he says is the funniest name he's heard so far. After spending a little time with her he decided to name her Mya. She didn't seem to care about being in a new environment. She came right in with her tail wagging and did really well with bathing, clipping nails, and cleaning her ears. She is so full of energy and love that she walks right up to new people and give them a hug. By hug, he means that she puts her head on people waiting for some love. So far they've really just been working on leash walking. She has a lot of energy so her trainer is working on calming her down. And they've already made progress! Tune in next week for more updates on the sweet Mya.
