Fast Friends

Jada and her inmate trainer have spent the past few days getting acquainted and acclimated to her new surroundings.  It was quite a culture shock to her from where she came from, and now being in prison.  She still seems a little timid and wary of many things, but she is making progress and Jada and her trainer are becoming fast friends.

Jada and her inmate trainer have been playing the "name" game and the "attention" game.  They have spent a lot of time walking in the dorm working on leash etiquette, along with commands, such as:  "let's go", "release", "wait", "heel" and "hurry".  Her trainer can already tell that Jada is a smart girl and will do well with her training.

Jada is a small little girl, but on the yard where she is free of the leash, she is as fast as lightning.  She comes out of her shell.  She is no longer timid or shy.  She runs like she is a champion.  Her trainer is certain as the weeks progress that Jada will blossom into a confident, well trained, well adjusted retired racer.  Just you wait and see.

Jada is such a beautiful greyhound.  She has a sleek and very shiny black coat that shimmers in the sun.  You can't help but love her floppy ears!  This girl is sweet and loves to be loved on.  Her inmate trainer is looking forward to training Jada.
