Flashy Fellow

Eli continues to be a wonderful house guest. He is sweet and affectionate. He loves to gives little kisses when he gets excited, which is usually mealtime or walkie-time or practice commands time. He enjoys walking and is always eager to get out but he seems to prefer to keep the walks fairly short, not that he causes any problems, he’s just not a high energy go getter. We sometimes take a path along a busy street and the loud street traffic doesn’t faze him at all. I adore his jaunty prancing gate that he has during our walks. He’s quite flashy. He did great with the 4th of July fireworks, not a worried peep out of him at all. He’s getting better with toys and now there are more out for his playing pleasure. If he starts to get destructive I can tell him in a stern voice to be gentle and he eases right up, like he knows he’ll lose privileges if he doesn’t. He is one smart cookie!
