Social Butterfly
/This week Jada and her trainer worked on fine tuning all of her basic commands. All of their effort paid off. On Friday of each week, the inmates have a show and tell session. This is where each dog goes through the list of basic commands. Their response to each command as well as response time is graded and recorded in order to show where improvement is needed. Jada performed each command flawlessly. She is such a good girl and her inmate trainer is so proud of her progress. These are the commands she knows so far: "hurry", "let's go", "kennel", "release", "wait", "heel", "here", "sit", "down", "stay", "bed", "jump" and "leave it".
Jada can lay around and relax when it's rest time, but she is by no means a lazy dog. She is full of energy some of the time. She loves play time and so far her favorite toy is a furry little ball that has a squeaker in it. She loves to make it squeak and squeak and squeak...
Also this week Jada was introduced to three extra commands: "Back", will get her to back up if she's standing in the way. "Give" and "drop", which will have her "give" up an object that is in her mouth, or drop the object to the floor. She is catching on very quickly to these new added commands.
If you have an active lifestyle and you like to be around other people, then this little girl is definitely for you. Jada is an active social butterfly, but it is imperative that you are able to give and receive lots of love. That is Jada's favorite activity.
