The Cutest Permanent Smile

Hi again! Last week, Dixie's trainer was anxious to let you know about how she's adapting and forgot to mention her most prominent attribute. Dixie has a very noticeable overbite (you can't miss it) and it makes her look like she is always smiling any time you look at her. It is an insanely adorable sight! She catches a lot of flak for it, but she's a sweetheart and takes it all in stride.

As far as training, Dixie is progressing along just fine. She's definitely a curious hound; she's easily drawn to the slightest movements and sounds. She has proven to be a decent learner and is very easy to work with. Dixie has been a bit of a lazy pooch here early on, but her trainer sees spurts of high-energy excitement that leads her trainer to believe she'll be a bottle rocket when she's up and running! They haven't cleared the necessary rest period after surgery when they can run, but her trainer thinks she'll be a fast hound when she’s able to open up.
