Don't Give Up On Chuck

Chuck passed the test and will be graduating this week.  He knows all of the basic commands and his extras include:  "shake", "leave it", "give", "shhh" and "back". Chuck will do his commands for his primary and secondary trainer on the first try.  He is shy when someone else gives him the commands, and it may take a couple tries, but he will do them.

His inmate trainer said Chuck is the sweetest greyhound he has trained so far.  Chuck likes to keep a close watch on his trainer and stay right by his side.  Chuck likes attention, but doesn't beg for it.  His trainer thinks, once Chuck is settled in his forever home, he will keep coming out of his shell.  He is just going to take more time than most greyhounds to adapt to his new surroundings.

Chuck does not like the loud noises at the prison or loud people.  He tends to shy away from that.  He will also bark at loud people, almost to say "Hey! Quiet down."   His inmate trainer thinks he will be much happier when he is in his forever home.  Chuck is going to be a great companion and friend.  He just needs lots of time to adjust.  Don't give up on Chuck...
