Training Skills

Frankie arrived at the prison weighing in at 54 lbs which is a little under his race weight of 61 lbs. For the first 72 hours Frankie and his inmate trainer will spend time bonding and getting to know each other.  Most importantly, Frankie will be learning to respond to his name!  They’ll slowly move into training with a few basic commands; wait, hurry, heel, kennel and bed. 

Frankie is a bit shy and unsure of this new environment.  He was not a fan of the shiny floors, but is doing much better – no more ice skating or wall hugging! Training starts soon and his inmate trainer believes that Frankie is going to catch on pretty quick!
