Time for hugs!

This week, one of our training teams was spoiled by having a calm, gentle and affectionate girl greyhound... Miss CJ! This was swap week, where trainers trade dogs to test for separation anxiety and obedience (performing commands from new people). CJ did just as expected: no difficulty whatsoever!

Even though she's not motivated by food or treats, she IS motivated by praise and love. She did all of her commands perfectly during show and tell. She doesn't really play with toys (hey, she's an old lady, and those are for rowdy kids anyway), but that doesn't seem to be an issue since she prefers to lie around and be loved on!

Her swap team trainers let her wander around the dorm off leash a few times, and every time she just strolled up to people to be petted and hugged. She is by far the most loving and laid-back dog her trainers have ever met! Her forever family will feel beyond blessed to add this gorgeous, sweet girl to their family!
