Tail Wagging Happiness

Bonnie is a very special girl!  She has improved so much since her arrival at the prison!  Her inmate trainer says that she performs her basic commands with a fair amount of happy tail wags.  He says that sometimes her tail wags so much that it almost throws her off balance! 

Bonnie has learned a few extra this week such as backup, take it, and tug!  Backup should prove to be very useful when walking down narrow hallways.  Take it is great when play with toys.  Her inmate trainer says that you can ask Bonnie to “take it” while holding a toy in front of her then use the command “tug” and she’ll start a game of tug with you!  She absolutely loves playing this game.  Once the game is complete you can request her to “give it” and she’ll let the toy go!  If she’s not ready to stop playing she will complain with a whine about stopping, but will obey. 

She’s doing great with grooming and teeth brushing these days.  Her inmate trainer is very happy to see Bonnie’s progress!  He says that she has so much love and affection to offer her new family!
