Big Man on Campus

The name Rex means "King," and it suits Rex the Greyhound because he is strong and handsome. His trainer immediately admired his light reddish-brown coat and his look of a mighty, rugged adventurer. There are only a few males in the current class, so he gets to be the Big Man on Campus!

Rex is friendly and enjoys affection. Lots of love is the key to helping our doggy friends acclimate to a human-filled environment, and it is amazing to see the changes in their personalities as they learn to become companions and friends. His trainer feels as if he already has a bond with Rex, and that he will remember him as one of his favorite dogs. All the other people in the dorm love him, too! What's not to love?

Rex has improved in his training very much so in just a few weeks. His trainer sees him getting better at doing commands every day, and he thinks that Rex will be ready to show us that he knows it all forwards and backwards on the final test at graduation. His trainer wishes he wouldn't have to leave! He'd like to keep him forever, but he is glad that he will have a family to love him and be as proud of him as he is.

The run team that Rex exercises with consists of just him and three girls, so it's a dream come true for this fella! His trainer looks forward to his happy smiles on more fun days ahead.
