Stairs? No problem!
/This week Jace has grown more comfortable with performing his commands and getting accustomed to being handled by the secondary and alternate trainers. Jace is an all-around well-mannered dog who has a playful side that sometimes comes out. He and his inmate trainer tried the jump command and did stairs training for the first time. Jace was very reluctant to do jump and to go up the stairs the first time. He did step up by himself on "jump." On the stairs after going up and down the first time, he readily went up and down on his own with confidence! Jace is a little bit slow to respond to certain commands, and his trainer is planning to focus more on these rather than the ones he knows before adding more. Jace is doing very well and his inmate trainer sees improvement every day.
