Learning about home life

Cabo is doing great! He ignores the kitty, which is what I like to see, and he’s settling in nicely. He gets along great with his greyhound foster brother & sister. So far his leash manners are above reproach, even when there are squirrels present! He knows his commands but is sticking to his “you gotta gimme something good” to do them. Once he relaxes & gets used to being in a home he will get better about doing them without treats.

I took him to have a bath at a groomers & the groomer said he was one of the nicest dogs she’d ever had the priveledge of bathing! She probably says that about all the pretty boys…

Cabo is still trying to figure out the house training. He’s catching on to “wanna go out?” & I don’t think we’ve had any inside “accidents” in a while. He took an early morning stroll with me (3 miles) and walked it easily. No problems with the passing cars. Got stairs? No problems with that! He's got them down (& up).

He’s a gem!
