Swap Week!

This week June spent some time with an alternate inmate handler to go over commands.  Her alternate trainer said that working with June was a pleasure!  She’s a beautiful girl who has the cutest Roo where she throws her head back and sings proudly. He says it puts a smile on his face to see her show her love and excitement this way. 

Swap week is a great way for the Greyhounds to experience commands from a new person and to spend time away from their primary trainers.  Her alternate handler says that in truth the trainers missed their Greyhounds more than their hounds miss them! 

June did great during swap week!  She did miss her primary handler the first few days, but settled in just fine.  He says that June is a well-trained girl who does all of her commands and lots of extras.  Her alternate handler said working with June was kinda like having a week off! 

He says that if you’ve never experienced love in your life then get a Greyhound and you can’t go wrong!
