Happy and Content

Another great week in the books for Apollo!  His inmate trainer says that he’s never met a dog so happy and content all day every day.  It doesn’t matter if he’s just chillin in his kennel or out and about with the other dogs and people.  His trainer says that Apollo does this little happy dance every time he greets someone.  It doesn’t matter if he’s just played with that person a few hours before he’s still dancing with happiness to see them!

Apollo calms easily with the “heel” or “leave it” command.  He’s actually doing great with all his commands.  His inmate trainer is slowly introducing extras every week.  He loves to learn and learns best with short training sessions of 15 mins or less 5 or 6 times a day.  He loves chasing toys and doesn’t mind sharing with the other dogs and humans!
