Free Spirited and Loving

Ahem, Cooper here to tell you have things are going.  As you know by now I’m retired from racing and now training for basic obedience; correction, retirement – I’m learning basic obedience. 

You know, the world is a great place.  For the first part of my life I got to enjoy the chase and now I have this inmate trainer dude who gives me treats in exchange for understanding human English!  It took me a little bit to understand that he was talking to me in a different language, but now I’m going through my treats . . . errr, commands really well.  I’m not too sure about these stair things my inmate trainer wants me to do.  I mean, really he should get down on my level and take a look at those monsters!  So anyway, I tried it because he asked and the first time I went up I tried to jump off instead of walking down.  But, I swear I thought I was going to roll over on my head trying to come down those things!  I mean do doggie paws stick to do those steps or will my hiney just flip right over my head??!  My inmate trainer played it cool and helped me to realize that it’s not so bad!  I still need to think about it a little more, but I’ll get it all worked out.    

If you’re looking for a sweet guy who’s friendly and loves being the center of attention then look not more ‘cause I’m your man!  I’m free spirited and I love to run and play with the other dogs.  If you would, please take a look over to your side… you see that open spot?  I could fill it.  Imagine that, me standing/laying by your side supporting you in life.  Now that’s a dream come true!
