Part Bird?

After three weeks of working with Misty, her inmate trainer is convinced that she thinks she's part bird.  LOL.  Not only does she constantly ball her bedding up into the perfect looking nest, but she collects toys and whatever else she can carry off to place in her nest (kennel), to lay on as if they are eggs to be hatched or chewed upon at a later date.

Misty loves learning and is highly motivated by tasty treats, which makes for fun and easy training.  She is doing a wonderful job learning her basic commands.  This week they also worked on stairs.  She was nervous at first, but that quickly gave way to confidence.  Now she goes up and down them with no problem.  She does it with grace and beauty, like Scarlett O'Hara.

Misty also had success with the "jump" command this week.  For Misty, "jump" will be an important command.  Being as cute and cuddly as she is, who wouldn't want her to be sitting on the couch beside them enjoying a good movie, like "Gone With The Wind". She's your next couch potato!
