Flying Colors
/One lucky team had the delight of taking care of Jack this week for swap week. For those that don't know, swap week is the time to get the dogs ready for the big change when they go to their forever homes. They do this by having them go through a little change in their environment and routine for one week and spend a week with a different trainer. If there are any separation anxiety issues, they can work them out now so that the next move to you will be easier. Jack sailed through swap week with flying colors.
Jack and his swap week trainer’s primary dog Barney are very similar in temperament and behavior, so things went very smoothly. They had such a fun week! Jack did all of his commands and walked great on a leash; he is such a laid-back dog. His swap week trainer said he couldn't have asked for a better swap week. Jack's primary trainer did a wonderful job with him! Swap week is necessary and helpful, but his swap week trainer will be glad to get his boy Barney back for the final weeks of the session. Graduation is so close!
