Everyone Loves Chuck!
/Chuck has come so far in just four short weeks. His inmate trainer is already thinking about how much he is going to miss this boy. Chuck has gotten the hang of all of his basic commands now, and most are being done off-leash. He has the "down" position perfected. Chuck sometimes likes to go "down" when he is supposed to "sit", but they are working on that. He also did great for Ms. Patti when they had their weekly testing session.
He started playing with toys, but loses interest fast. When he is playing with toys he is gentle with them and doesn't chew them up, which is a plus. He has no problem giving you his toy when you say "release".
His inmate trainer said this morning Chuck was really acting spunky. He didn't want to play with a toy, he wanted to play with his trainer. He said it was pretty fun, and Chuck plays like a cat; ready to pounce on you at any moment.
Chuck is doing much better around strangers. He still will shy away, but when he gets to know you, you are good as gold to him. He will be your companion for life. Everyone loves Chuck!
