Aiming To Please

Chuck is a sweet greyhound, but can be timid at times. He has started opening up more as the weeks goes on.  He has been able to walk around and explore the dorm, which has helped him open up.  His inmate trainer said there is a huge difference with Chuck towards him.  He has started to build a bond with him.  Chuck will seek him out in a crowd.

Chuck showed no excitement when he first got to the prison, but now when he gets up in the morning he shows more happiness.  He is wagging his tail and bouncing around.  He is a greyhound that will take more time to adjust to his new surroundings, so please be patient.

Chuck is very loving and aims to please.  He is catching on to this training thing.  He walks great on a leash, no pulling or lagging behind.  He heels good and has pretty good recall already as they've introduced the "here" command..  He is working on "sit", "down", "stay" and the other basic commands, and progressing nicely.

Chuck's inmate trainer feels Chuck will be an excellent companion, friend and family member.  Stay tuned for more on his training through week three!
