Squeaky Toys!

This past week has been a fun one for Slick and those on his team. He’s really started to play in the training room. They have a short play session before and after they train if he wants to let loose. Slick may not run around guns blazing each time he plays, but every few days he just goes nuts and runs around and hops up and down to get toys!. He is tough on toys. He loves them if they squeak, but they will quickly go silent and start to lose limbs if they aren’t industrial quality toys.

Training is going very well. He knows his basic commands and a list of extras. He knows room, water, leave it, give, catch, fetch, off and lift. Lift is a new one he just learned. When his trainer needs to wipe off his paws, she will tap his leg twice and say “lift”. He will raise each paw off the ground so she can wipe them off.
