Leader Of The Parade

Heath was the “Leader of the Parade” they had on Wednesday. He did very well and was excited going all around the compound. He did seem to get a little scared when he got around the big crowds that were cheering. Since his trainer was by his side he did settle down. Everybody loved him. He wore a little Santa hat and side blanket that said “Greyhound Express.” It was adorable and the dogs were the Grand Marshalls of the parade. All of the dogs did a fantastic job. Their trainers walked them around the whole compound.

Heath is doing so well with his commands. He will do all of them without a treat, but you do have to act as though you have one. He does not like being in the day area of the dorm when it is loud. He wants to be in the comfort of the room or kennel. He is really a chill and relaxed dog.

His favorite time is when he is outside playing with the ball. He will push that ball around the field forever. Heath never wants to stop playing even when he is extremely tired. He plays soccer with Mink and Dart. They have their own little soccer game.

His trainer is really going to miss Heath dearly as she does all of the dogs she has trained. They all touch her heart deeply.
