Quick Learner

Heath is an amazing dog and his trainer said is has been so much fun training him. He is such a quick leaner, eager to learn new things, as long as he rewarded with a treat of a ball. He loves the ball and is obsessed with it. He will go right for it when he sees it outside.

Heath loves his belly to be rubbed. He loves to relax and chill in the room. He’s not a fan of loud noises and will head to his room upstairs or go to his kennel. He loves his pillow and when it’s cold he will burrow under his blankets. Heath is a very loving and affectionate boy and his trainer is going to miss him.

Leader Of The Parade

Heath was the “Leader of the Parade” they had on Wednesday. He did very well and was excited going all around the compound. He did seem to get a little scared when he got around the big crowds that were cheering. Since his trainer was by his side he did settle down. Everybody loved him. He wore a little Santa hat and side blanket that said “Greyhound Express.” It was adorable and the dogs were the Grand Marshalls of the parade. All of the dogs did a fantastic job. Their trainers walked them around the whole compound.

Heath is doing so well with his commands. He will do all of them without a treat, but you do have to act as though you have one. He does not like being in the day area of the dorm when it is loud. He wants to be in the comfort of the room or kennel. He is really a chill and relaxed dog.

His favorite time is when he is outside playing with the ball. He will push that ball around the field forever. Heath never wants to stop playing even when he is extremely tired. He plays soccer with Mink and Dart. They have their own little soccer game.

His trainer is really going to miss Heath dearly as she does all of the dogs she has trained. They all touch her heart deeply.

So Laid Back

Heath is such a great dog. He really has been a wonderful dog to train according to his trainers. He will definitely be a great dog to have as a companion. He is extremely smart. You only have to do something a couple of times and he has it down pat.

Heath is very loving, but you do have to earn his trust first, but once you have it he wants to be by your side. He is doing better in his kennel and no longer whines at night.

He is a very playful dog. He loves playing doggie soccer when he has a muzzle on. Heath and Mink play with the ball together. It is really cute. Heath knows how to “Fetch” too. He will go get the tennis ball and bring it to you for you to throw again. He knows all of his commands and is very treat motivated. He loves banana and peanut butter filled Kongs as a treat.

Heath enjoys to snuggle under his blanket during the night. If it is extremely cold outside he wants to do his business and come back in. He loves playing with toys but will tear them up quickly if he is not monitored with them. He is a really laid back dog and doesn’t like the loudness of the dorm. He would rather stay in the room.

Heath Will Melt Your Heart

Heath is a wonderful dog. His trainer has really enjoyed teaching him. He will definitely melt your heart. He is a very loving and affectionate fellow. Heath is so attentive according to his trainer. She can yell “here” Heath, across the yard and he will run straight to her.

Heath is super smart and learns new things very easy. He is a great companion too. He loves walking outside along with running and playing. Sometimes they are the last to come in from outside so he can run and play fetch with the tennis ball. He will bring the ball back to you every time, waiting for it to be thrown again. He can almost pick up the tennis ball with his paw…it is CRAZY! He is a number one soccer player too.

Heath loves playing with toys. He really gets along well with the other dogs. When wanting someone new to pet him, he will do this cute shy little walk. He does take a little time to warm up to new people. Just give him time to get to know you, then he will give you all of the loving you can stand.

Playful Boy

Heath is an amazing dog! He is a playful dog. He loves to run and play when outside. When he gets going he is really fast. He also loves to play fetch. He will bring it back to you over and over again.. There is just no end to his play. He is a soccer king. Heath can really get the ball moving.

Heath is a vert smart dog too and so treat motivated and very eager to learn, with a reward of course. (This is why he is having to watch his waistline(. LOL. He definitely knows when feeding time is.

Heath is not a fan of the cold weather… he wants to potty and then hurry back inside. He loves to be tucked in completely under his fleece covers and has to have his pillows too. It is so cute. He does this shy thing when he meets new people… it is adorable. He will crawl to them.

Heath gets along with all dogs. His buddies are Remi and Tony. He is energetic but has his laid back side where he just wants to be in the room where it’s quiet..

Amazing Personality

Heath is a great dog. His personality is amazing. He is so funny and will keep you laughing, especially when he sleeps. He grumbles and groans in his sleep.

Heath knows all of his commands plus several extra’s. He is very treat motivated. He will do anything for a treat. He is a quick learner and is very eager to learn too. He is on a schedule and knows it very well. He does good at night in the kennel and loves being completely covered up while laying on his pillows.

He definitely knows when feeding time is. The way to his heart is food. Heath loves to play with toys but likes to find the squeaker in them. His trainer keeps on eye on him during playtime. His favorite is playing with balls outside, he will chase them all over the yard. He will fetch and bring them back to you too.

He and his trainer are going to continue working on all commands and extra tricks as well. Heath does get along with all the dogs. Heath is a wonderful boy!

Very Smart Boy

Heath is such a great dog. He is very smart. He learns really quick and easily. You just have to show him something a couple of times and he has got it. He is very treat motivated. He loves his treats like peanut butter and banana Kong. He also loves apples.

Heath loves playing with toys but his playing consists of destroying the squeaker and the toy. He does play with them gently when told to be easy. He just loves them so much, he can’t help himself.

He loves running and playing outside especially with the soccer and tennis balls. He would do really well playing fetch. He is a very loving dog and is doing so much better in his kennel. He no longer whines at night. He goes in his kennel with no problem.

Heath loves attention. He has this shy kind of walk he does when walking up to people. It’s adorable. His trainer really enjoys working with Heath and she can’t believe how fast the week’s are flying by with Heath.

Smart And Eager To Learn

Heath is a very smart boy. He is very treat motivated and loves attention. He is doing so well. He knows all of is basic commands and several extra tricks too. He is so eager to learn as long as he is getting rewarded. His favorite time to train is in the morning. Heath knows his schedule. When the leash is picked up, he knows what time it is.

Heath can be a little rough on the stuffed toys, so his trainer gives him other options to play with. He enjoys the Nyla-bones and loves playing with balls. Heath likes his quiet time. When the dorm gets too loud he likes to chill in the room. Heath’s trainer is enjoying her time with this sweet boy.

Sweet Boy

Heath is a sweet dog, but tends to be a little shy around a lot of people. This is only week 1. His trainers are working on “Kennel” training.

Heath is a very good eater and does really well on his leash and enjoys his walks very much. He loves relaxing in the room, but if his trainer goes out, he wants to follow her everywhere. He loves being petted and does great going up stairs. It only took 2 or 3 times and he had them mastered.

Heath has picked up a few toys but has not really played with them. He does like to play with tennis balls. They have worked on the name game and he seems to know it already. The trainers have worked on the “Bed” and “Sit” command and Heath has learned them very quickly. He is treat motivated so that will help a great deal when it comes to training.

Once Heath gets familiar with the new sounds and surroundings at the prison, his trainer is sure he will settle in nicely.

Toys Are Fun

Heath is a very smart dog. After showing him something a couple of times, he gets it down pat. He knows all of his basic commands already, plus a few extra’s. He knows “Bow,” “Show Me Love” and “Bounce”. Heath is very treat motivated.

He loves playing with toys, but was a little rough on them, so they switched to the hard chew toys and he loves them. He is doing very well going up and down the stairs. He loves chilling in the room with his trainer. He also enjoys lounging on the big beds in the dayroom and will now share them with the other dogs. All and all Heath is a very loving dog and his trainer is enjoying every moment with him.
