The BEST Boy

Champ has such an endearing personality and his swap week trainer says he will never forget what a good dog he was during swap week! He gets along well with other dogs and people, and everyone can’t help but love him to pieces. It’s fun to watch him run when he plays with his hound buddies in his running squad, Lamont and Derek. His swap week trainer wishes he had a picture of him drinking out of the same bowl with Trixie because they looked so cute sharing!

Champ has mastered everything now and is ready for his final testing on all of the commands. The last thing he finished learning was to wait in the “sit” position outside his kennel at feeding times, and it’s been a rewarding success! His whole team is so proud of him. His swap week trainer hasn’t seen any signs of aggression over toys or anything else. It gladdens his heart to see the progress these dogs make in just 10 short weeks.

Some sweet words from his swap week trainer: “I love how Champ gets excited to get out at play times. Like many of our dogs, he has transformed well into a delightful companion and best friend for any human on earth, becoming more outgoing and extroverted over the session as he became more comfortable around us. We’re always glad to see each other, so of course I wish I could adopt him as my own pet. I know he will be so thankful to have a forever home. Champ is a champion in the history of this program, renowned among all greyhounds and a special blessing to us all!”
