Lazy With A Bit Of Goofy

It’s time for swap week!  This week the inmate trainers swapped dogs to work on commands and for the dogs to have time with new handlers in a new environment. 

Frankie’s temporary inmate trainer says that Frankie is truly enjoyable dog.  He says that Frankie is a lazy dog with a goofy playful side.  When Frankie decides to play he will play with toys, humans and other goofy dogs. 

Frankie did not have any problems spending time away from his primary trainer.  He didn’t really want to perform his commands this week.  His temporary trainer got Frankie to perform by getting him in a playful mood with a treat or lure.  While on the leash he wanted to lead the way and needed correction.  He didn’t really want to spend time in his kennel, but agreed to it for a treat.  He would try to dart out when the door was open, but his temporary trainer made him wait until allowed out. 

His temporary trainer says that Frankie is a great dog!  He will need time to bond with his new family and for someone to be the pack leader to keep him following through on his commands.
