One Smart Cookie

Darcie jumped into week 3 with all four paws! She is such a friendly and sweet girl, with a gorgeous dark brindle coat. It’s very, very soft, so when you start petting her it’s hard to stop. She loves to be loved on and petted so it’s a win, win for everyone.

Darcie worked hard on her commands this week and did her first “sit” on her own. She also learned “down”, “wait”, “here'“, “stay”, “heel”, “leave it”, “bed” and “kennel”. Darcie is now going into her kennel on command. Once she’s in there, she is looking like, “hey bud, where’s the treat?” When you come back after being gone, she is so excited to see you. Tail wagging like crazy!

Jump and stairs was introduced this week. Darcie did jump and went up and down the stairs on the first try. She is picking up on her commands pretty fast. No surprise with a smart cookie like Darcie.

Darcie likes to run on the big yard. After a nice run, she likes to take a break and sun bathe in the sun. It’s too cute! Darcie has shown no interest in toys yet, but that I’m sure will change. Her trainer said it’s been a fun few weeks with Darcie and looks forward to the coming weeks. She has made a positive impact in his life in this short time. Darcie will hit you like a hurricane with her love!
