All Smiles
/Susie has learned that the quicker she performs a command the faster she gets a treat. Her response time has improved dramatically with this new discovery.
She is showing a little interest in toys, but will only play with them for a few seconds before losing interest. Her inmate trainer has been working on the “stay” command and she’s working hard to get it but really wants to go wherever her inmate trainer is going. He knows that she’ll get the hang of it soon. They worked on stairs this week and at first she was a little unsure but after the third time she was running up and down them without a problem.
Susie prefers short training sessions. She’s willing to work for a few minutes before she wants to lay down and take a nap or have you give her scratches and rubs. Her inmate trainer wants you to know that Susie smiles. She just showing she’s happy, but if you don’t know what a Greyhound smile looks like you’ll think she’s bearing her teeth in aggression and that’s not the case at all! Nope, she’s smiling at you!
