Enjoys A Parade

Exciting news this week! The dogs of Second Chance Greyhounds got to be the Grand Marshalls in the parade at Pulaski! The dogs lead the parade off and got their first chance to be on the compound. Dart was super excited. The dogs were made special Santa hats for the parade. Dart’s big head broke the strap on his, before they even started walking. It was funny. The other inmates seemed to really enjoy the dogs being on the compound. There was a lot of cheering, clapping and of course petting so they walked around all of the dorms. Hopefully they will get to do it again.

Dart has continued to do well with his commands and has even picked up a couple of tricks. He seems to love the cooler mornings to run and play. He still enjoys playing with the soccer ball until he can’t play anymore and goes to lay down.

With the time approaching to say goodbye, the team has no doubt he is going to make a wonderful addition to his new family.
