Cheyenne: A User's Manual
/Hello, this is Cheyenne here, bringing you a progress report from week 6 of my time at the Second Chance Greyhounds Academy. Last week, we talked about one of my favorite subjects - food! This week, we are talking about my other favorite subject which is being petted. So in order from worst first, here we go.
The tail? Not a fan. If it itches, I will bite it myself. The spine: it's sensitive, so go easy on it. The ribs? Don't play them like a xylophone, or do vertical strokes, and we will be all right. The feet and belly are for gentle rubbing, but no scratching. The top of the head and lower jaw? Vigorous scratching is a must. Stroke my ears while scratching my hindquarters and I will shift into a bowl shape and enter a state of bliss that will result in me propping myself right up on your legs. And last of all... The armpits. I know it sounds crazy, but rubbing or lightly scratching my armpits sends me into a total trance!
Well, that's all for now, but remember to take notes, people! This information will be of critical importance to my forever family. Until next time!
