More Progress

Jason's inmate trainer has been working to polish his basic commands.  They've also been working on a couple of new extra commands, one being "bow".  He's catching on to it very well, they say.  His inmate trainer is confident he'll have "bow" mastered in the next week or so.  Another extra command they are working on is "paws up" which is where Jason puts his front paws on the surface of an object, like a chair or bench.  He has picked up this command very quickly.  Other extra commands he has learned include "shake" and "leave it"!

Jason is a very sweet and laid back dog with a splash of playfulness.  Today after a training session, his inmate trainer and Jason sat back and watched some TV.  He laid there with his head in his lap for almost an hour and would have stayed longer if his inmate trainer hadn't gotten up.  He was very comfortable and content!

He thinks Jason will make a great addition to a home with kids or even without.  He'll be great in any environment!
