Outgoing And Friendly

What a joy Nora has been for her inmate trainer, since she arrived at the prison!  She is such a sweet and friendly dog, and a beauty with her brindle coat.  She is outgoing with all of the inmates and guards, and seems to get along with all of the other dogs too.  She is coping with her new environment well, so she will adjust to her new home and her adopting family with ease.

For the past few days her inmate trainer has been working on Nora's leash manners.  She has shown vast improvement in just a few days.  He is also working with Nora on the "heel" and "wait" commands.  She is doing pretty well with the "wait" command.  She "waits" in doorway thresholds, but needs correction at the door going outside.  She is a little slow with "heel", but it's early and she will have them mastered in no time.

Next week her inmate trainer will work with Nora on "sit" and "down".  Stay tuned, until next week...
