Off To A Good Start

Nora is progressing with her training very well and she has adjusted to her new environment nicely.  She walks on a leash well.  She knows "wait", "bed", "let's go" and "heel".  Her inmate trainer is also working on "sit" and "down" and feels she will have those commands mastered in a couple of weeks.

Nora is a sweetheart.  She is very well mannered, and very friendly to people and other dogs.  She had an upset stomach this past week, but was able to communicate with her trainer that she had to "hurry",  badly, and held it until they were outside.  What a good girl.

She loves to play with squeaky stuffed animals and balls.  She is extremely energetic for about five minutes and then she is ready to lay down.  She did go for about a 1/2 mile jog with her trainer, and jogged right beside him.  She had a great time.

Nora worked on stairs this week and had no problems with them.  Check back next week for Nora's progress.
