Sweet Sable

Dear adopters,

Sable is an amazing dog! She is so smart, kind, loving and sweet. The 13 basic commands are no problem for her. The family who adopts her will have a BLAST teaching her any new extras that they want her to know. She enjoys running on the big yard and she loves playing with her toys. Her trainer knows you will be over the moon for this little gal! These past 10 weeks have been very enjoyable because of her and she is going to give you just as much joy as you can handle and more!

Happy, Happy Girl!

Swap week time!  Time for the inmates to change out dogs for training practice.  The dogs get time with a new group and the trainers get to see how they respond to commands and time away from their primary group. 

Sable is a super laid back girl.  She loves toys and play time makes her really happy.  Her alternate inmate trainer says that it’s a wonderful sight to see her so happy.  She did really well with all of her commands and didn’t have any problems being away from her primary team.  He says that she’s going to make a great addition to her new family:)

On Point

Sable is a great dog! She learns fast and is always on point with her command follow through.  Her inmate trainer says that she’s a joy to work with.  He enjoys watching her enjoy life!  She loves being in the big yard with her buddies.  If you got a toy she’s got time!  

Her inmate trainer says that he believes that Sable is going to make a wonderful addition to her new home. 

Fast Like The Wind

This week has been great fun with Sable!  She loves to play with toys as much as she can.  When she gets in the big yard she runs with the wind.  You can tell that she’s having a great time.  

Her inmate trainer has been working with her on a few extra commands and she’s picked up on them really fast.  She now knows both “give” and “leave it” with a verbal request.  He says that he’s looking forward to seeing what she learns next!

Black Beauty

Sable’s secondary trainer has been working with her for four of the past six weeks and loves her! She is a very smart dog and is so responsive to her commands. She gets excited when it is time to play in the big yard and she gets along with her canine friends very well. When it’s toy time in the training room, she has a blast. Sable is a gentle dog and she will make a fine, stately addition to your beautiful family!

Sweet Miss Sable

This week was a good week! Miss Patti came down to visit and see how well the dogs are all doing and Sable did all of her commands with no problems. Now that she knows all of her commands, she is starting to learn some extras. Sable is very sweet and she makes her trainer's day better every day. She is just so happy and loves to play with toys and chill out on her bed. After all that, she will fall asleep right next to you, emanating her sweet, lovable energy all night long, lulling you into peaceful, quality sleep - so that you have plenty of energy to play with her the next day!

Stellar Sable

Hi there, Team Sable here! Miss Sable is doing great. She has started to perform sit and down, and caught on really quickly! But her biggest moment this week was her newly discovered love for TOYS! She loves the toys they have at Jenkins and she is pretty laid back about sharing and giving them up. She is so good at calming down and that temperament is also apparent when playing in the big yard. Sable had a big weekend with show and tell and she got to show Miss Patti all her commands, and she did pretty darn good for her first show and tell! Sable took notes and will be working on a few more things so that everything is ready by the time graduation rolls around.

Ready To Shine

Sable has been working away at waiting at doors and leash walking.  Her inmate trainer has started teaching her “sit” and she’s picked it up with no problem!  He says that Sable is very toy motivated and she loves to run and play.  She doesn’t have any problem with “give” when her trainer makes the request.  Her inmate trainer is very happy with her training progress! 

Next week is a big week… SCG will be checking training progress!  Sable’s inmate trainer is not worried.   He knows he’s got one smart girl on his hands.  He’s prepared to watch her shine!

Fast Learner

HI there, Sable here! After a week of being here, I realized it’s not bad at all to be retired! I get to play with toys and run; I never thought toys would be so much FUN! I get to run on the big yard and it is by far the best thing we do here.

Well, as far as new stuff goes, I started learning how to walk on a leash and waiting at doors and there is just nothing to it. I’m a fast learner but they want me to take it slow, so I will just keep surprising them with how quickly I learn! Until next week…Sable out.

Princess Sable

Helllllooo world!  Sable has arrived for training.  The humans did their job and gave this princess a bath and pawdicure.  She has an inmate training team who are providing the royal treatment.  In order to win her approval they hand feed her and have begun making a few requests. Although the word “hurry” is what they’ve chosen at potty time they must understand that a lady never rushes Mother Nature.  

In the days to come Sable will work on training the humans and the humans will learn to provide treats at her request.  She’ll be ready for her forever family and true retirement and the humans will be better suited for their next princess encounter.
