Home For The Holidays

Bazza is such a good boy! He is so sweet, caring and loving! Bazza is finally to the point where he doesn’t require a treat for every command, but he still wants one. He finally got “shake” down this week. Sometimes Bazza acts like he doesn’t know his name or some of his most basic commands, but that’s just his stubborn side showing, because 5 minutes later, Bazza will do whatever you ask with no hesitation. He’s a spoiled boy and his trainers are going to miss him!

Bazza's Working His Way Into Hearts Everywhere!

This boy’s personality if finally coming out to play and his trainer said it’s so cute, funny and absolutely the most endearing thing ever! When you look into his eyes, which are extremely expressive, you’re automatically drawn to him and they make you feel like you’ve go to love on him and be his friend forever! The whole time Bazza has been training, he has also been training his trainer. She said she is a sucker for this boy and Bazza knows it!

This week he is finally doing “shake”, so his trainer is moving on to “say your prayers”. He’s got the concept of it, so his trainer has no doubt he will have it figured out in a day or two. Each day his trainer finds Bazza is working his way into their hearts and they gladly let him!

Bazza The Entertainer

This has been a good week for Bazza! His trainer thinks they are slowly but surely getting to the point where he doesn’t require a treat for each and every command. Oh, he wants one for sure, but it’s not a necessity anymore.

Bazza has become more active inside and outside. When his trainer jumps and jogs around, Bazza follows her lead, prancing and lifting his front legs at the same time. It’s too cute! Bazza’s trainer is having so much fun with him. She said he is an intelligent, loyal and affectionate boy. She can’t believe how fast the weeks have flown by.

"Show Me Love"

Bazza’s training is going well. This week he is still testing his trainer to see how long it will take her to dish out the treats. Well, she held out until he would follow thru with the command that was asked of him. He was outsmarted. Bazza does know all his basic commands and quite a list of extras he working on. (Room, water, give, drop it, leave it, fetch, shake and show me love).

His trainer is also working with Bazza on personal space. He insists that he must walk over another dog to get to where he’s going. His trainer is working with him on this. Bazza is a great dog and his trainer enjoys hanging out with him.

Easy To Love

Bazza knows all of his basic commands!  The problem is he’s decided his inmate trainer needs a little training… this means he holds out as long as he can before following through.  He will follow through, he just takes his sweet time seeming to enjoy the wait.  Maybe he thinks he’s a performer and he’s building anticipation!

His favorite toy is a neon pink and yellow stuffed duck-billed platypus; which isn’t even his, might we add!  He doesn’t care much for any of the other toys.

Bazza loves everyone and expects everyone to return the love and affection.  His inmate trainer says that this sweet boy is easy to love!

Loverboy

They’ve had a great week with baby boy Bazza! He’s got all his basic commands down pat and his trainer is working on “shake” this week. His trainer can tell he wants to shake. He will start to lift his paw and then he slams it right back down. LOL

Bazza has an extremely healthy appetite. He loves his kibble and treats. His trainer said he is 100% treat motivated. He has learned a list of extra commands that are sure to amaze your friends. When Bazza is caught doing something wrong, he gets a poor pitiful me look on his face, and boy does he look pitiful! He is such a huge loverboy that you’ll want to forgive him for just about anything.

Attention Hound

Bazza sits now and what a pretty sit it is! He’s still a little resistant at times, but he will eventually follow thru. Bazza loves food and acts like he’s never been fed when it’s time to eat. He’s also 100% treat motivated. He knows most of his basic commands and some extras.

Bazza plays like he’s still a puppy. He will chase his trainer around the training room and play with toys. When Bazza comes in from potty breaks, he’s got a group of people just waiting to love on him. He starts at one person and works his way around the room, getting loving from everyone. If one time around the room isn’t enough for Bazza, he will go for round 2. LOL This boy knows how to pull at your heartstrings. He is so caring and sweet and his trainer sure does love him!

No One Can Resist Bazza!

Bazza’s trainer said he is one of the most affectionate dogs she’s ever seen! All he wants is love and he makes sure to love you back in return! He absolutely LOVES people and no one can resist Bazza’s charm. He rubs up against people’s legs and hits their hands with his head until they pay him the amount of attention he feels he deserves.

As far as training goes, he can be a bit stubborn, but he does know quite a few of his basic commands already. He has sat on his own a few times, but they aren’t the prettiest of sits. LOL Bazza tends to walk on both sides, so his trainer is working with him to just walk on the left. It’s a work in progress.

Bazza Loves Everyone!

Bazza is an absolute mess! He has every single person in the dorm in love with him and he loves them all back! Bazza is an amazing people person. He acts like he has never met a stranger. As long as he’s receiving attention, he will stand right next to you, leaning in to every pet. If you stop, he will nudge your hand for some more lovin’!

Bazza is completely laid back and calm, unless there’s a toy he wants, then he will go crazy trying to get it. He has not barked yet, but was a little nervous during some severe thunderstorms and he whined a little bit, but not bad. Bazza seems to be completely at ease inside his kennel. He does enjoy eating ice throughout the day as he’s not a big water drinker. Training is going good and his trainer is having lots of fun working with Bazza.

Quite The Character

There’s so much to say about baby boy Bazza! His trainer said he is such a character. When he plays with his trainer and is thrown a toy, he gets it and brings it right back to his bed where he drops it for his trainer to throw again. She is reinforcing that with “fetch”.

Bazza loves people, but he loves them even more when they love on him! Bazza can be stubborn too. When they are outside for potty breaks and he’s done, he will literally put on the brakes and refuse to take another step, unless its in the direction of the front door. Silly boy. His trainers are thinking of a nickname…. Don Juan de Bazza or Bazzanova… We’ll keep you posted!
