Shining Personality

Ozzie has been such an amazing dog. His trainers say these ten weeks have gone by so fast. It is wonderful to see how much he has progressed. He has always been a personable pup and he really shines brightly.

His commands are polished and his speed to how fast he reacts is quicker and quicker everyday. He has been more and more playful with his trainer and as the days go by he has been getting a little more rough while playing. His trainer is trying to curb that though. He will truly be missed by his trainers.

Keeps Everyone Laughing

As this session is coming to an end, the trainers are fine tuning their commands with the pups. Ozzie is still a great thinker before he does what you ask, but he does it well. This past week they have worked on climbing the stairs and he is doing much better. Ozzie does really well once he gets started but he is still a little unsure. His trainer thinks it has more to do with the stairs there.

Ozzie loves his outside time on the yard. He has been spinning in circles more and more before he takes off running. He keeps everyone laughing.

Overall the progress Ozzie has shown in these past few weeks, make his trainers extremely happy. They know he is going to make a great dog for his new family.

Outgoing Pup

This week was a privilege according to Ozzie’s trainers for Swap Week. He was a surprise because they were told how laid back and chilled he was. For them it was not the case. Ozzie was very outgoing and full of energy, but did settle in as the week went on. He also is such a gentle guy and very curious of his surroundings. His swap week trainers enjoyed their time with Ozzie.

Ozzie enjoys toys and playing with the other dogs. He is very treat motivated too. Ozzie did pretty good with his commands, but was a little slow on following through. They will keep working with him daily on all of his commands.

Who's Got The Treats?

Ozzie has been continuing to make progress each week. He is getting much quicker on following through with his commands.

His trainers have been working on going up and down the stairs. Ozzie can go up the stairs if enticed with a tasty treat on each step. Going down is no problem. They will continue working on the stairs daily and his trainer is sure he will have them mastered by graduation.

Ozzie still enjoys playing with the other dogs and loves to play with toys by himself. Ozzie still displays some sleep startle but will come out of it quickly when his name is called. He does show warning signs. First he will yelp, growl and then jump up barking.

Ozzie is a well behaved dog all around and anyone would be lucky to have him in their life.

Making Progress

Ozzie has continued to make progress on his commands. He is getting quicker with his response time. Last week they were working very hard on “Stay” and “Here,” as these commands still give him some problems.

Ozzie seems to have a lot of bottled energy. He is tired of being in quarantine and he hasn’t gotten the chance to actually run in a full out sprint. Now that the weather is cooling down they tend to go outside and just sit, but he does seem to enjoy it.

Along with chasing bugs that are outside, he has been playing more with the other dogs, but likes to play more one on one with his trainer or the toys.

He really is an all around sweet dog and you will absolutely love him!

Bundle Of Happiness

Ozzie has been doing really well. He continues to get stronger with his basic commands. The commands, “Here” and “Stay,” are still a work in progress, but his trainer knows he will have them all figured out in no time. In addition to the basic commands he has added a couple of extra tricks, “Show Me Love” and “Catch.”

Ozzie’s energy seems limitless at times. He just wants to play whether it is by himself or with you, but he does calm easily. He can “Catch” plush toys thrown to him. He brings the toys back to you and releases them when you say “Give” and then waits for you to throw it again. He does great on a leash. Ozzie doesn’t pull and will walk by your side.

Throw Ball....Will Fetch

Ozzie has been doing wonderful and his training is going much better. He knows the “Sit” and “Stay” commands very well. They are working on the kennel command, but Ozzie enjoys being out and about.

Ozzie continues to play really well with the other dogs as well as by himself with toys. He loves to chase balls, always bringing the ball back to be thrown again.

He doesn’t seem to care for the big pillow beds but his trainers can get him to lay down on them for a bit, while petting him before he gets up and walks away. Ozzie is an extremely friendly boy and is going to make an excellent pup.

Toy Chaser

According to Ozzie’s trainer they have had a great week of dramatic changes. They are currently under quarantine due to safety precautions, so it has made getting the right amount of exercise a little bit of a challenge. Ozzie is walking four times a day for twenty minutes around the dorm. He is getting tired of the same old routine and wants to do something different. Soon Ozzie. Very Soon.

Ozzie is very playful and likes to chase toys. It doesn’t matter what kind of toy it is. He just loves to play.

Ozzie has been doing really good with his commands. He knows “Sit” and “Down.” His trainer feels that “Stay” shouldn’t be a problem, because once he lays down, he’s down for the count. LOL

Ears Up And Tail Wagging

Ozzie has come in with ears up and tail wagging. He is a little timid when it comes to all of the noise but has no problems letting anyone pet him. He is doing fairly well being in his kennel. He likes to be out and about with his trainer.

Ozzie is very playful when outside, he will start spinning and take off before he realizes he is still on the leash. His trainer is working on his leash manners and he is improving. He hasn’t shown any interest in the big beds or toys yet, but he is fond of his blanket. He loves to lay on it.

He knows the basic command “Hurry” so far, but is working on others.
