Cowboy's A Keeper

Cowboy passed his final testing and is now officially ready to join his forever family after graduation.  Awesome job Cowboy!  His trainers said it has been fun working with this handsome boy.  He is smart and a fast learner.  Cowboy will be a greyt addition to his forever family.  His trainers know you will fall in love with him just as they all have.  Cowboy's a keeper.

Treat Motivated

Swap week was a genuine pleasure for this trainer!  He said Cowboy is such a well behaved, handsome boy.  He can be a little strong willed at times, but as long as you respond accordingly with assertiveness and letting him know you are the boss, he quickly falls right back in line.

Cowboy is so cute when he gets excited.  He absolutely loves playing with toys, especially ones that make some kind of noise.  (Note to new adopter).  He is completely treat motivated and will do anything asked of him for some kibble.   He is performing all of his commands admirably without hesitation.  He's such a good boy.

His swap week trainer did not notice any signs of S.A. and feels he will have a smooth transition into his forever home.  Cowboy is going to make some lucky family very happy.  It won't be long now.

Star Student, Sweet Boy

This week Cowboy's trainer gave him a break in training and he did more lounging around and playing together. He was a little under the weather so they took it easy this week and did some jogging in the backyard. On Friday they had show and tell and after drinking a little bit of water, Cowboy kicked it into high gear and did great. Some of the senior trainers even gave him tens across-the-board. Yes, you could say he's made his trainer proud. And he's just so darn lovable, just the sweetest you'll ever see! His trainer says he's really going to miss this boy.

Eminently Lovable

To describe Cowboy in one word, we would have to say he is awesomesauce! His trainer just loves him. It comforts his trainer to know that Cowboy is going to a good home for the rest of his life.

Cowboy now knows all his commands and some extras: belly and shake. He picked them all up very quickly and he is such a smart boy. He's very playful and loves to just hang out with people. He also loves snacks! He would take a snack over a toy any day. He goes into his kennel fine but would much rather be hanging out with you. He's a sweet boy and just so lovable that you can't help but want to spoil him rotten.

Cowboy's Got the Moves

If you are wanting a puppy loves to play, who is eager to please, and is loving, then this is your guy. Cowboy is all that and a bag of chips! Cowboy has now learned belly and shake, and if you have treats, then he's got the moves. His trainer thinks sometimes that he would rather play with people than with toys. Cowboy chases and fetches balls and bring them right back to his trainer. He can't say it enough, but Cowboy is such an awesome Greyhound. He's really going to miss Cowboy when some lucky family takes him home. When you realize what you have, and you don't snatch him up fast, you'll be sad because some lucky family's going to adopt him real soon! His trainer hopes that it's you!

A Truly Good Boy

Cowboy is doing so great with his commands! He knows all of them and he is such a loving and sweet dog. He has such a great personality. He loves to play and he calms down easily, and he really loves to be loved on. He just learned belly and he has it down pat. He has come so far! His trainer is so happy to be able to work with him and they have a great bond. He is doing great all-around, loves everybody, and he really loves treats.

Friendliest Hound Around

Cowboy had a great week and did very well at show-and-tell. He also did stair training on Saturday, and it was no problem for our boy. He's worked on jump and he's pretty much got it down. A little more work and he'll be right on the money. Also, on Saturday, his trainer started teaching him belly and he's picking it up fast. Of course, he loves food, so he's a fast learner. It's been a real joy so far working with Cowboy. He's so smart! Cowboy likes to play with toys but especially to play with toys when there's a person playing with him. He doesn't really like to play by himself, and he really loves to interact with other people. He's so much fun! His trainer loves taking him to the outside yard and running with him. He really keeps his trainer in shape. His trainer says that he will really miss him when some lucky family takes him home to love him forever.

Back Scratchers, Please Apply

Cowboy is an awesome little fella...  Ok, maybe not so little, but awesome just the same.:)  It's only been three weeks and he has a good grasp on all of his basic commands.  His trainer will keep perfecting and fine tuning them with the help of the other trainers, so when he goes to his forever home he will be a pro doing them all.  It should be an easy transition.  Cowboy is a friendly pup that loves everyone!

Cowboy plays nicely with toys and likes to interact with his trainer during play time.  He is a very gentle boy and calms very easily when play time is over.

Cowboy's trainer is having a lot of fun with him.  He's a fast learner and oh so sweet.  Start scratching his back and he's all yours!  Cowboy is going to be a great addition to some lucky family.  He won't be available for long, so don't wait.

Cowboy's doing very well. His trainer is so proud of him! He already has sit and down in the bag. Cowboy loves food so his trainer gets some good training in at feeding time, and let me tell you he is a fast learner! His trainer doesn't think it will be long until he has mastered all of his commands. Heel is coming along very nicely, as well as leave it and stay. Cowboy is very gentle and gives up toys very easily. He likes to play for short periods of time and he calms down with ease. Cowboy is just an awesome pup and his trainer is so proud of him and thankful to be able to work with him. Whoever adopts this fellow will be adding an awesome family member to their home.

Handsome Fella

What a beautiful boy Cowboy is, or should I say handsome fella!  He's got the cutest face that will make you fall head over heals in love.

Cowboy is ready to go and wants to be in the lead when he comes out of his kennel or when it's time to go outside.  His trainer is working with him on this and things are going well.  He settles down pretty quick.

On his second day, Cowboy was already learning "bed" outside of the kennel.  His trainer is also working on "wait", "heel" and "sit".  He is "waiting" at the training room door and is doing pretty good with his "heel".  He will also hold the "sit" and not just bounce back up.  He's a smart boy.

Cowboy is doing awesome for only being at the prison for a few days.  He is adapting to his new environment and should be a very well-rounded loving pup worthy of any loving family.  Stay tuned...
