Forever Family, Here Comes Freddie!

Freddie starts his day off in loving spirts!  His inmate trainer says you can’t help but feel happy with Freddie at your side.  He loves toys, playtime and running.  He is a laid-back guy who plays well with the other dogs.  His inmate trainer says that she’s going to really miss this sweet and handsome guy, but is happy to know that he’s getting a new forever family. 

Ready For Retirement

Freddie is a big lover. He wants to greet everyone an get lots of pets and rubs. He will lean into you, hoping for more love. He loves everyone and plays well with the others. He is a wonderful greyhound.

Freddie loves anything that squeaks. Squeaky toys are at the top of his list with food coming in a close second. Freddie does great with toys. He shows no signs of aggression when taking them from him. He is a gentle boy and can be lazy at times. Freddie’s trainer said whoever adopts Freddie is very blessed and will absolutely love him. He is looking forward to his forever home.

Throw Me A Ball

Freddie loves balls!  He’ll chase a thrown ball with happiness and glee.  His inmate trainer says that he’s so goofy and sweet that you can’t help but fall in love with him.  If he ever needs correction, he acts as if he’s ashamed of himself.  If he needs to go potty, he’ll bark to let you know it’s time. 

Freddie loves people and never meets a stranger. He’s curious about everything.  His inmate trainer is sure that if he could talk he’d be the town gossip. 

Full Of Happiness

Freddie’s inmate trainer says that when Freddie does something wrong and is corrected he gets a little insecure.  He’ll hang his head and lean into his human as if he saying he’s sorry and didn’t mean to.  His inmate trainer says that after she corrects him she gives him a few minutes, then pets him to let him know he’s still loved.  When he’s laying around relaxing his inmate trainer makes sure that she calls his name before she approaches him so it doesn’t startle him.  Freddie is a curious boy who loves relaxing on his pillows.  She says he’s very affectionate and goofy at times.  He’s full of happiness which you can’t help but feel when you’re around him. 

Freddie is learning to “catch”. His trainer will toss up a toy and give him the command. Sometimes he’s in the mood and other times he will watch the toy hit the floor. Silly boy! His trainer said it’s so much fun having Freddie around.

Easy Going

Freddie is an absolute sweet dog! He is so precious. He is a smart, easy going, happy boy that loves to give and receive love and affection. Freddie is a big leaner. Give him a few pets and he will lean into your for more.

Freddie great in our out of his kennel and doesn’t mind being in there either. His training is going very well. He’s so smart. He knows all of his basic commands well. He needs work on his heel and leave it. He’s working on some extras too. He knows show me love, shake, and watch me. He is working on Say your prayers.

Velcro Boy

Freddie’s inmate trainer says that he’s an absolute joy to be around!  He loves to smile with happiness.  She says he’s an extremely sweet boy who loves to relax and romp around like a goof ball.  He knows the difference between play and serious time.  He’s very smart and catches on very quickly which makes training easy. Treats and lots of praises are right up his alley! He does great when playing with the other dogs.  If the other dog gets mouthy or plays a little too rough, Freddie will walk away.  He’s a Velcro boy until he hears a squeaky toy, then he yells catch ya later lady as he runs to join the fun.  He has a strong prey drive and will laser focus on something until you clap your hands or rattle his leash which re-focuses his attention on you.  He seems to forget that he's not a teacup chihuahua and wants to get in your lap for snuggles. 

Gentle Giant

Freddie is such a gentle and loving dog. He gets along great with all humans and four legged friends. He enjoys getting petted and will lean in for more. You can’t get enough of Freddie.

Freddie is a smart boy and is doing great with his training. He enjoys playing with a tennis ball or a squeaky rubber chicken. He’s a silly goof-ball! Freddie loves his pillows to lay on when he goes to sleep. He’s a quiet sleeper except the occasional grunt or groan when turning over. He’s a chill boy and his trainer is enjoying every second with this special boy.

Freddie's The Favorite

Freddie has had fun playing this week. He romps around the yard with a goofy grin, right before he takes off running. He’s a joy to watch. He’s still not a fan of the stairs, but will go up them without treats.

Freddie is super friendly and his trainer feels he would be a great therapy dog. He is tall enough to rest his head on beds and laps. He loves to rub on and be rubbed on. He doesn't mind getting hugged around the neck. He can be stubborn at times, but does listen well and is very treat motivated. Training is going good. Freddie is great dog and a favorite among the inmates and staff. He’s going to be a great addition to any family that adopts him.

Handsome and Sweet

Freddie is an absolute joy! He’s definitely a velcro boy and is extremely smart. This far Freddie exhibits and enormous amount of patience and affection. Nails trimmed. No problem. He fell asleep. The same with his ears. He is having a little trouble going up the stairs, but going down is great. His trainer is sure in no time he will be a champ on them.

Freddie is very sweet. If there are multiple people around, he gives each person a turn to give him love, leaning on them and wrapping himself around them. Freddie is very treat motivated and his trainer is looking forward to the weeks ahead with him.
