A Lifetime Of Love

Tripp has become quite the charmer. He has been a greeter to several visitors this past week. He is so well behaved and lovable. Everyone can’t help but notice his beautiful golden brown eyes. Tripp is really an amazing dog and you are going to love him.

Tripp is so sweet. He loves affection and attention and is also completely content to hang out with this trainer on a dog bed. His training was easy and fun with Tripp. It took him no time to understand what his trainer was asking of him.

Tripp’s trainer said he will enjoy him for a few more days and then he’s all yours. He is going to make a wonderful pet.

Incredible Hound: Incoming!

This week was Swap Week! During this time, the trainers not only test the hounds for separation anxiety but also to make sure the hounds will respond to commands from strangers. Tripp’s swap week trainer said that Tripp performed his commands very well for them, and he is so playful once he gets going. When his trainer put him on the bed beside him, he just sat there and stared at him with those big beautiful eyes. He has such intense focus!

Tripp loves to run in the yard and chase his fellow hounds all over the place. He is both serious and silly and was a delight to work with during swap week. You have a wonderful pup coming your way!

Easy-going Guy

It's been an exciting week with Tripp. He has come a long way with training and is getting better each day. He knows all of his commands and he is such a smart dog. He still gets excited when he knows it's time to go outside to run or go for a potty break. He also really loves belly rubs!

Perfect Score!

What a great week for Tripp!  At Show and Tell he had a perfect score on his commands!  He even performed “down-stay” for the first time!! His inmate trainer says that Tripp has really taken off in the last week.  Everything seems to be clicking for him now.  

He’s not really into toys but loves to run.  He’s always excited to go outside and play.  His inmate trainer says that Tripp is a wonderful boy and he’s really enjoyed watching him develop into a great pet.  

Loving Boy

Another week has passed and Tripp is doing great! He loves to go outside and run with the other dogs.  His snacking skills errr…. training continues to go well. He is a loving dog and a blessing to be around.

His inmate trainer says working with Tripp has been a fun and rewarding experience.  He’s enjoying watching Tripp grow and learn.

I Want to Break Free!

Tripp has had a breakthrough week! He is really getting comfortable and is starting to relax and become much more confident. His trainer got him to sit for the first time this week, which is all about Tripp being confident enough to do it on his own. Sitting isn’t a favorite motion for greyhounds (just look at those long legs) but he has figured it all out.

He has really taken to lying on the bed for long periods of time while he trainer watches TV which is a good sign - he’s relaxing now, which took time to work up to, but he got the hang of it. He is such a sweet dog and will make a great pet for any loving family! Is it you?!

Friend to All

Trip has shown improvements this week with most of his commands and behaviors. Jump is his favorite command so far, other than bed, of course. His trainer introduced him to toys this week, but he doesn't seem to have much interest so far. That may change as he becomes more comfortable at Jenkins.

Trip is a bit shy in front of large crowds but his trainer is working with him on that. His leash walking improves every single day, and he does especially well for such a young hound. His trainer doesn't think that he's ever trained a greyhound that loves other dogs so much. He wants to play with all of them. He is a very sociable and sweet boy!

One Fast Boy

Tripp’s training is going well. He worked on stairs and jump this week and did both almost immediately. He is also adjusting well to his new life outside of the track. Tripp loves lounging on the bed and he enjoys love and affection. He’s a very sweet, loving boy.

Tripp can run and I mean he can run FAST. His trainer thinks the big yard is now his new favorite new activity. He loves feeling the sun on his face and the wind in his fur.

Tripp the Explorer

Tripp is beginning to understand what his trainer wants and he is eager to please. He will get even better as he adjusts to his new environment. He loves to get out and work, and he also loves to explore. His trainer has found that if given the chance, he is perfectly content to lie around on a bed and be petted all day. Tripp is very well-behaved with a typical lounge-level of greyhound energy. He loves other dogs and wants to play with them whenever he sees them. He is so friendly and has never met a stranger - Tripp is fitting right in!

Training With Tripp

Tripp has arrived for training!  His inmate trainer says that Tripp seems to be adjusting really well to this new environment.  He’s taken right up with training and seems to be eager to please… or at least eager for a treat.  You got treats he’s got game!  

Tripp’s inmate trainer says that he believes it’s going to be a great training session with Tripp and he can’t wait to see what Tripp learns!
