Sweet Baby Jay

Sweet Jay has taken it easy this week as his time at the prison draws near.  His trainers keep going over his commands to keep them sharp.  He knows all his basic commands verbally and with hand signals.  He also knows a list of extras that is sure to keep his forever family entertained.  His extras include:  Leave it, off, out, back up, move, shake, which hand, kiss and bow.  Jay continues to make his trainers laugh.  He will show off every one of his commands and more.  Jay is a favorite of many of the ladies.  He absolutely enjoys all the love and attention he receives.  Get ready to spoil this sweet boy Jay!

Big Fan Of Attention

Jay has had a great week!  His inmate trainer says that he’s so cute when he shows off all of his skills!  He gets excited when treats come out!  He has adjusted to his new daily schedule and already knows most all of his commands with both hand signal and verbal cues! He loves to have his ears cleaned and is a big fan of getting attention.  His inmate trainer says that she’s very proud of this sweet boy!  She believes he’s going to make some lucky forever home very happy!

Jay-Bear Is SO Much Fun!

Jay has had a great week! He’s so smart and loves to learn new commands, which shows with his growing list of extras he has learned on top of his basic commands. His extras include shake, leave it, back, give, off, out, kiss, bow, which hand and say your prayers. Jay is very schedule oriented. He will let you know when it’s about time to eat.

Jay enjoys playing and has started to nip at your hands to get you to play with him. He is very gentle though, but his trainer is working with him on this. Jay-Bear is smart, a good listener, considerate and sooooo much fun!

Happy To Learn & Get Treats

Sweet Jay, his inmate trainer says that he has such a sweet and goofy personality.  He loves all the other dogs and gets along well with them.  He’s easy to train and is happy to learn and get treats! He’s a smart guy who seems to be happy about life.  He knows all of his commands with both verbal and hand signal cues.  His inmate trainer says that she enjoys training this sweet guy! 

What Will Jay Learn Next

Jay’s inmate trainer says that Jay is such a sweet, happy, boy who is full of personality.  Jay loves to be outside for playtime and walks.  He pulls a little on his leash so they’re working on correcting this with the command “easy”.  He loves to play outside and has mastered the “leave-it” command.  His inmate trainer is proud to report that Jay knows most all of his commands with both verbal and hand signal cues. She’s looking forward to seeing what he learns next.

It's Dinner Time

Sweet Jay!  He loves his daily routine.  His inmate trainer says that she can count on Jay to remind her what time dinner is to be served.  He starts getting restless around time to eat, clearly announcing through his body language that it’s food time. 

Jay’s inmate trainer reports in that Jay has had an amazing week with training!  His personality has really started to come out more this week as well.  He’s a blast during playtime!  His inmate trainer says that she’s having a great time with this sweet boy. 

Lots Of Love To Give

Sweet Jay has had a great week!  His inmate trainer says that he continues to be a sweet boy with lots of love to give.  He starts wagging his tail when he makes eye contact with you.  He loves belly rubs as much as he loves treats.  This week they worked on social skills.  He does great playing with the other dogs.  Tiny Milly is a spunky little thing and she gave Jay a run for his money during one of the their play dates.  They played tug-a-war. Milly won, but Jay didn’t seem to mind.  Jay settles well after playtime. 

Jay - Bear!

Jay-bear! His trainer said he is so sweet and reserved. Jay gets excited to meet and greet with others. Outside on their walks, Jay wants to follow the other dogs. He tries pouncing and jumping toward them, hoping they join in on the fun. Jay has a very happy tail! He is always wagging it.

This week Jay has officially learned the following commands: here, his name, wait, release, bed and down. He does great during his training sessions. Jay is picky about what treats he likes, but he’s just as happy with praise. He is such a sweet boy. He loves attention and affection, but doesn’t demand it. Jay is an absolute joy to have around. You can’t help to fall in love with this big ole teddy bear!

Sweet Personality

Jay has had a great first week adjusting to his new environment. Jay is a happy, laid back dog. He loves to socialize and does very well around the other greyhounds. Jay reminds his trainer of a teddy bear. He’s a big boy and so fluffy with a sweet personality. His cute personality really comes out when he goes in the playroom with toys. He likes squeaky toys and an egg shaped ball. Jay will great you with a very happy tail. His trainer said it’s been a wonderful week getting to know this cutie.
