Fan-tank-stic!

Tank has always been a lovable dog, but this week his trainers think he is just approaching perfection. He listens so well to all his commands and waits so patiently for his trainers to finish whatever they’re doing. He’s getting better at the stairs and now loves spending time in his kennel, which wasn’t so easy for him at first.

Tank’s trainers can’t sing enough praises for this fantastic dog. They are going to miss him so much, but are so ready for him to have many more incredible experiences.

Puppy Eyes

During swap week everyone else learned who Tank really is. He is Loving and affectionate, knows all of his commands and will do them before being asked if a treat is in sight. If told to “Leave It,” he will give you these sad puppy eyes.

Tank has adjusted to his kennel and enjoys hanging out in it. Sometimes he doesn’t want to come out. He wants to savor the moment just a little more. LOL. He is such a friendly boy and loves to be scratched and petted by everyone. Get ready for Tank the “Love Bug”.

Gentle Soul

This week was Tank’s first show and tell and it went very well. He showed out. He did great doing his commands in front of everyone. He is super smart and so lovable and his trainer says he’s such a joy to have around. Every day a little more of his personality shows. He’s got it all. He can be playful at times, but for the most part he’s a laid back boy. He is a gentle soul and will be missed.

Playful, Sweet and Lovable Pup

Tank and his trainer have had another great week. He is such a playful, sweet and lovable pup. They have been working on his fear of the stairs this past week. He is getting better every day and they are working very hard to conquer them before he goes to his forever home.

Tank is doing great on all of the other commands. He is super smart! He has gotten better with “Kennel” and “Stay” too.

He loves an orange medium sized ball and will take it outside then he will just play and play. He really enjoys being outside and as sweet as he is, he will be awesome with children.

As the weeks go by and time is nearing for him to leave, his trainer is a bit sad because Tank is such a joy to have. His new family will be forever blessed with a great pet.

Such a Joy!

Tank and his trainer have had another great week as usual. He is such a lovable pup and smart as ever, and a very fast learner. Even though he knows all commands they work on them all through the day, everyday.

Tank is a morning guy and he enjoys playing and running around throughout the morning. During the midafternoon and evening, he just relaxes and is getting much better with his kennel. He now will lay around in it during the day without making a peep.

Each day a little more of his personality comes out. He enjoys playing with the other dogs and toys. He is so laid back and calm. Tank will be awesome with children, outdoor fun and different activities. He really enjoys playing with balls. Tank loves attention and affection from whomever will give it.

Tank is food and treat motivated and loves ice water! His trainer said it has been such a joy these past weeks working with him and preparing him for his forever home.

Such a Great Dog!

This week has been a good one with Tank. He is playing and learning more and more. He is doing great with all basic commands plus a few new ones such as “Shake,” “Kiss” and “Paws Up.”

Tank’s trainer said he seems to be a bit lonesome at night in his kennel and wants her to know that he misses her company. Hopefully he will begin to feel more at ease soon. You can do it Tank. You’re a big boy now.

Tank is such a great dog. His trainer said he is very sweet and will be great with kids. He is super smart and playful. Tank enjoys being around people and the other dogs. He doesn’t even mind sharing toys. He is such a great dog, he really, really is!

Tankie Boy!

Tank had a great week. He’s as smart as ever and knows most of his commands well, and it’s only week 4. What a good boy. He’s also working on a couple extra commands: Paws up and kiss.

Tank is a playful, happy boy and loves to be outside taking in all the new smells and checking out everything along the way. Stopping to get attention from anyone that will give him an ear scratch or neck rub. Tank is so lovable and sweet and will make a nice addition to some lucky family.

Brown Eyed Boy

Tank’s trainer is super excited to report that he is doing an AWESOME job learning his commands. It’s only Week 3 and he already has a pretty good grasp on most of them and has started to learn some extra tricks. He’s just so stinkin’ smart!

He is incredibly playful and loves to be outside. But then in quieter moments he looks deep into your eyes like he’s hanging onto every word you say. His trainer has no problems at all to report from Tank; he’s just a joy to be around.

Puppy Love

For such a young pup Tank definitely has an old soul. He is so quiet and gentle. The only evidence of his baby side is when he whines sometimes during the night, but his trainer thinks he’ll outgrow that as he becomes more comfortable with his new surroundings. It’s only week 2. Give the boy a break. LOL

Tank gets along really well with all of the people and other dogs at Pulaski. He has just started playing with toys, and it puts a huge smile on his trainer’s face watching him toss the toys around and chase after them. She says he is such a joy to have around, and she can’t wait for the next few months with him.

Sweet Pup

Today Tank arrived and so far, he is such a gentle pup.  Being an 18-month-old, his trainer was expecting him to be super hyper, but he hasn’t shown that yet.  He enjoyed his bath and even allowed his nails to be cut without any fuss whatsoever.

On Sunday, Tank and his trainer had a nice time bonding, he is such a sweet pup and wants to be with her all the time.  After a bit, Tank will enjoy having quet time in his kennel.  He is very curious, with just the least little sound, he is ready to see what is going on.

He loves attention and is settling in nicely.  Tank has already began playing with his toys.  He is super smart, already knowing a few commands in the short time he has been here.  He knows “Bed”, “Let’s Go” and the “Here” command.

His trainer is looking forward to the upcoming weeks with Tank.
