A Great Joy

In this last week Dancer has started to come out of her shell. She has started to play around the other dogs. She also has begun playing more and more with toys now she has gotten comfortable. She likes to pick up the tennis ball and prance around the yard. Dancer is a slow bloomer, but definitely worth the wait.

Dancer has been a great joy to get to know and will sadly be missed.

Such A Goofball

Dancer has come out of her shell! Her trainers are glad she has, but they wished it could’ve been sooner. She is such a goof ball! Dancer will run around with the other pups now, wanting to play. She will give play nips and begin to bark. She enjoys playing “Tug-of-War” as well and wants to play with any ball that she can carry around.

Dancer knows her basic commands and is only slow to respond to the “Kennel” and “Stay” commands.

Dancer is such a lovable, sweet and silly goofy pup. Her trainer is sad to see their time together coming to an end, but happy she is going on to a much better and happier life.

A Happy Dancer

Dancer is doing great! It has taken her awhile, but she has finally came out of her shell. Some dogs take longer to get used to things and Dancer is one of them. The reward is worth the wait. Her trainer said it is wonderful seeing this side of her. She is barking, grabbing for toys and spinning around on her bed area… Just a Happy Dancer! It really makes her trainer so happy.

Dancer is a little stubborn as far as the “Stay” and “Kennel” commands, but she does all the others without fail. She is very curious about her surroundings and loves attention. She is a true cuddle bug and wants to lay close so she can be petted constantly.

She's A Blast

It is “Swap week” and Dancer’s temporary trainer said she is a blast to have. Her personality will have you laughing and smiling. She is so loving and sweet. When Dancer gets excited she is full of energy.

She had little separation anxiety and whined some when in the room but after she settled in, she was okay. Dancer did really well during training and knows her commands. She seems to enjoy showing them off. They also went over her extra tricks too. While the trainer was working on the “Kiss” command, she said she could tell Dancer is very smart and seems to learn quickly.

Dancer enjoys being outside! She also enjoys a game of soccer with the big ball. The trainer said they had a wonderful day together and she would definitely enjoy having her again.

At the end of the day, they had a stranger go through her basic commands. Dancer passed!

Super Lovable

Dancer is doing very well. She has opened up and started playing more inside with toys. She is very curious of her surroundings and will let you know when someone comes around that she is not used to, by barking.

Dancer enjoys being petted and rubbed behind the ears, on her face and muzzle area. She is super lovable. The only problem Dancer is having is the waxed floors. She has gotten much better about walking around on them. In some areas she will stop and slowly go around. Her trainers are so proud of her progress.

Dancer is really laid back and enjoys being outside with a tennis ball.

A Free Spirit

This week has been great. Dancer has begun to walk on waxed floors again and the stairs without problems. She slipped on the floors earlier in this session and was reluctant to walk on them. Dancer has even begun playing more with toys.

She definitely enjoys being outside and the tennis ball is still her favorite toy. Dancer’s trainer waited this morning until all of the other pups had played and ran before taking her out. This allowed Dancer to be free to play and run alone with the ball without her muzzle.

So Sweet and playful she is! Her trainer would throw the ball and Dancer would bring it back to her. She really enjoyed herself running around freely without her muzzle. She is so different when outside, a free spirit. While inside she is a lazy girl and wants to be a cuddle bug. She wants all of the attention and wants to be rubbed on around her head, ears, face and muzzle areas.

Dancer will let you know when people come in the door, she will bark! Don’t take this wrong though… her trainers said that Dancer is not at all aggressive. She just has a “Let You Know” bark.

Dancer is super smart and knows all basic commands, plus some extra tricks. She is really a great dog.

Cuddly Girl

According to Dancer’s trainers, it has been an interesting week. Dancer had been doing just fine walking around the day area, but one day she just decides, nope! She was not going to walk. Her trainers think it is due to the floors being super shiny after getting waxed. They have placed some floor pads from the training room around her kennel and door areas, which is where she had been having the most problems. She is doing better now. Training is going great.

Dancer enjoys going into the training room to lay down for a short nap or to look out the window. She is such a sweet, gentle and cuddly dog.

A Great Week With Dancer

This has been a great week. Dancer has really came out of her shell. She will play with toys until she notices someone is watching her. It is too cute!

Dancer’s trainers have added a few fun commands to her basic ones: “Pray,” “Spin,” “Shake,” “Paws Up” and “Bang Bang.” Dancer is really smart. She takes it all in, one day, then on the next day, she applies it.

Dancer enjoys playing outside with the tennis ball. She gets along with all the other dogs. She still is kind of a loner at times. She likes to do her own thing.

Dancer is such a sweet, gentle pup. She likes to cuddle and likes her muzzle/face to be rubbed while laying around. She doesn’t mind you laying on her or anything. Her trainer is always doing things she thinks a child might do, such as playing with her paws, getting in her face…etc. She is really lovable, and hasn’t a worry in the world. All is going great with Dancer. She is such a joy to have around!

Such A Joy And Pleasure

Dancer is such a joy and pleasure. Her trainer is very grateful for this time with her and to see her grow.

A True Dancer

Her trainers have decided to call her Dancer. When they first met her, she started jumping around for a treat like she was dancing.

Dancer is a really sweet young lady and her trainers said it is a great privilege getting to know her. She tends to get overwhelmed easy and prefers to go someplace quiet. Dancer arrived shy and timid. As time is passing and she is getting to know her trainers, she is coming out of that shell. She is not interested in toys just yet. She may pick them up and hoard them in her kennel, but that is her only interest in them so far.

Dancer walks great on a leash and doesn’t pull, however she occasionally becomes a wooden horse for a few minutes then continues walking. She got to run for the first time the other day and they said she was a different dog. She definitely ENJOYS running.

She gets along great with the other dogs while running and when she is just lounging around in the dorm. Her trainers can’t wait to watch and see her grow into an awesome furry friend.
