Run Like The Wind

Ada’s trainer said it’s hard to believe the last week has come and gone and soon Ada will be in her forever home. She said she couldn’t be more proud of Ada. She has done so well and blossomed beautifully. Ada is such a loving dog and her trainers hopes she has lots of space where she can run like the wind.

Ada lays around mostly, but loves to play with her peeps. They call her “narcoleptic Ada”, because she is prone to close her eyes at any moment……..and sleep. LOL She’s a sneaky girl too. She’ll steal toys from the other dogs. Ada loves her kennel very much and will hang out there most of the day if you let her. Ada is a special pup an her trainer prays she has the best life ever in her forever home.

Butterfly Chaser

Ada and her trainer enjoyed a laid back week. Of course they practiced commands and she’s doing great with them. Her trainer is incredibly happy for Ada. She knows she’s going to be loved so much by her forever family. Ada is a wonderful, loving, little ball of cuteness. Ada never gets tired of being petted. She just wants to spend all her days in the presence of her peeps and get loved on and petted.

Ada likes to walk outside with her trainer and chase butterflies, well anything that flies. She looks at them with curiosity and follows them. Ada is going to make her forever family so happy and she deserves it. She’s the best pup. She will be living her best life soon and her trainer is incredibly excited for her.

Playtime = Tail Wagging Fun

Ada an her trainer have had an amazing week! She can’t believe it’s already week 8. She said Ada is such a good girl, but does have a greyhound stubborn streak. LOL She’s a doll face and her trainer knows her forever family cannot wait to get her.

Ada loves her kennel, so there should’t be any issues getting her to go in there. She is highly treat motivated, especially with peanut butter. Her trainer has found distracting her while clipping her nails is a win, win! Ada enjoys playing with a toy and she wags her tail when she plays. She doesn’t play long, but boy does she LOVE to run!

Ada’s trainer hopes she gets a big fluffy purple bed all of her own. She said Ada is a cutie patootie and she is so grateful she got to work with Ada this session. Her forever family will not be disappointed.

Happy Happy Girl

Another great week in the books for Ada!  She and her inmate trainer have been practicing commands and working on some new ones!  “Say your prayers” is one of the new commands introduced and Ada understands to put up her paw on her trainer’s arm but hasn’t mastered putting both paws up there yet.  Her trainer says it’s hard to believe it’s been 7 weeks already!  Ada has come so far from the shy girl that arrived.  She’s blossomed into a very loving and happy girl.  Ada’s inmate trainer calls her “Cutie Patootie” because she’s so adorable.

Love Bug

Ada and her trainer have maintained a chill vibe this past week. She got a new toy after Sunday’s meeting, so she has been rather happy and playful. They have been practicing her commands. She has mastered most of them. This week her trainer introduced her to a new command, “open”. This is where she will open her kennel door and let herself in.

Ada is super sweet, laid back and easy going. She doesn’t understand why someone can’t pet her 24 hours a day. She wants love from everyone and her trainer knows she will charm her forever family right away. Ada was extremely guarded when she first arrived, but now she’s a lovebug and lights up the place. She’s a doll and her forever family will adore her!

Half Way There

What a beautiful week with Ada! She showed her trainer she knows how to “jump” on command. She also knows “bang bang”. When Ada does this command, she will put her paw in the air between her trainers as if to say “don’t shoot!” She is too cute!

“Stay” is still a work in progress. Her trainer tries to get her to “stay” on her bed, but when people walk by, she wants to pop up and run after them. She just loves attention and thinks everyone should pet her. Even if she is supposed to be training. Ada does a great “here”. Ada will come running back to her trainer when she hears, Ada “here”.

Ada still loves her kennel and nap time is at 11 am. She knows when it’s time. She will wait at the kennel door for her trainer to open it. Ada is so much fun and her forever family is going to adore her, for sure!

Prosperous Week!

Ada and her inmate trainer have had another prosperous week! She learned to “shake” and now she does it all the time! She is absolutely adorable! The girl loves peanut butter. if she is ever hard headed with commands, her inmate trainer will pull out the peanut buttter and her stubbornness is miraculously gone! It’s quite funny!

One of her inmate trainers favorite things about Ada is her playful side. She see’s it more and more as she gets comfortable. She does not snap at Ember for invading her space. If fact, now, she is more inclined to lick Ember’s face! They spend alot of time together. BFFs for sure!

Another thing her inmate trainer loves about Ada is her desire to please her people. She is a loving pup and her inmate trainer is so happy when Ada is happy. She wags her tail and wants to hop in her happiness - it has been a pleasure to watch her grow and open up.

When she first arrived, she was closed off and guarded. She wanted to stay in her kennel. Now, she is a little playful at times, a little narcolepti at times :). Yeah, she will be playing one minute and about to pass out asleep in the next . . . she is too cute. Her forever family is going yo love her so much! Her inmate trainer is enjoying her time with her!

Born To Run

Ada is doing fantastic! She’s a sweet girl and her trainer is enjoying working with her. She absolutely loves peanut butter and will do anything for it, so training has been a breeze. She’s very enthusiastic when it’s training time. Could be the peanut butter. LOL

Ada loves to run. She runs hard and fast! It’s nice to see her having so much fun. She and Ember have a blast running and playing outside. Greyhounds running is pure joy.

Peanut Butter!!

This past week with Ada has been a fun one. She has finally come out of her shell. She continues to do well with her commands. Her trainer discovered Ada loves peanut butter. When she is showing her stubborn side and not wanting to do commands, her trainer pulls out the peanut butter and it works like a charm.

Ada loves her kennel, but has gotten to where she will come out and lay around too. When she’s tired, she prefers to rest in her kennel. She loves to be petted and will follow her trainer around. She is a great companion and will make someone very happy.

Training = Treats

Ada and her trainer spent the first week getting to know each other. Ada was standoffish for the first few days, but began opening up towards the end of the week. She loves her kennel and enjoys hanging out in it. She also loves to be petted.

Ada does not eat all her food in the morning, but cleans the bowl at dinnertime. She is very food/treat motivated, so training is going very well. She knows it’s time to get down to business when the treat bag comes out.
