Worth The Wait

Hello humans!  My name is Anna and I’m working my way through all the hearts in the prison program.  I have an awesome inmate trainer who gives me treats and provides a soft bed for leisure time.  Get a load of this! I got a new toy with TWO squeakers!  You heard that right, (and so did everyone else in the dorm), TWO squeakers.  That thing sings a song that ignites my happiness spirit! I can hardly wait to sink my teeth into it!  Sometimes I have to do things like “sit” or “stay” (boring) before I can play, but it’s worth the wait.

Social Butterfly

This week Anna has been adjusting well to her new environment. She is very social and wants to meet everyone. She loves to play and run around.

During training Anna is very responsive when treats are involved, however she will do her commands without a treat. She is doing amazing with her commands and definitely wants to please everyone. “Heel” and “stay” are a work in progress, but she has greatly improved throughout the week.

After training Anna plays for a bit. Her favorite toys are a yellow plastic egg to chase and anything rubber that bounces. She is full of energy and love! Her trainer is proud of what she has learned already, and can’t wait to see what the next week holds.

Bounce Like A Kangaroo

Anna is a sweet and exciting greyhound. She wants to play with everyone (humans and animals). She came to Jenkins with a big personality. This week Anna was able to run and play outside. She had a blast. Anna has been working on her commands. She knows hurry, let’s go, her name, kennel, wait, release, here and down. She has been introduced to sit, heel, stay and bed. She is very smart and catches on really quick. Anna is very treat motivated, so training is going great!

Anna is very funny with her toys in a good way. She will bounce like a kangaroo and toss it herself to go chase it. Overall Anna is amazing, friendly and loving so far. Her trainer is excited to see how the rest of the weeks go with sweet Anna.
