High Five!

Apollo’s inmate trainer says that Apollo is a joy to train!  She says that he’s one smart cookie!  He does well with many of his commands with both verbal and hand signal cues.  If you wanna shake his paw or catch a high five he can do it!  Be prepared to be impressed with this sweet boy!

As time winds down in training his inmate trainer says she’s going to miss him, but believes he’s going to bring a lot of happiness to his new family.

Getting Ready For Graduation

Not much has changed since last week with Apollo. He is still sweet and lazy. He takes retirement very seriously. His three favorite things are affection, food and sleep. If he’s got those, he’s one happy pup.

Every day Apollo’s trainer runs through his basic commands and extras. He knows them with verbal cues and hand signals. He is just about ready for graduation.

Apollo’s trainers love him and are enjoying the time they have left with him. They know you will love him as much as they do.

Sweetness Overload

Time is dwindling down with Apollo and his trainer knows she is going to miss him dearly. He has done very well with his commands and knows them with verbal cues and hand signals. He can be stubborn at times, bu he tops the charts with his sweetness.

Two more weeks and Apollo will be on his way to his forever home. He is truly a king in his world and such a gentle, loving dog. You will love him for sure!

In Retirement Mode

Apallo is a sweet boy who loves rest and relaxation.  He loves affection.  If you pet him once he’ll nudge you for more attention.  He’ll pick up a toy every now and then and take it to his bed to sleep with.  He doesn’t want to play with it, he just wants it nearby.

He’s very treat motivated and very smart, but be warned, he will try to pretend he doesn’t know what you’re talking about.   Little stinker!

His inmate trainer says that they love this sweet boy and believe that he’s going to make a wonderful addition to some very lucky family.

Apollo Will Race Into Your Heart

Apollo is such a joy and he loves getting a cookie when he does all his commands. He can be a bit stubborn but his sweetness makes up for it. He knows his basic commands with verbal cues and hand signals. He has also learned some extras already. (shake, bang bang, which hand, high five, kiss, spin). Whoever adopts Apollo will be very pleased with all he has learned. Only 4 more weeks…

"Lover Boy"

Apollo is such a lover boy! He is so sweet and affectionate. He is not very playful, but will snatch up a toy and take it to his bed every now and then.

Apollo is not a fan of loud noises and the newly super shiny waxed floors. He is not a very vocal boy. His trainer has heard him whine only a few times and bark maybe once. Apollo is smart and loves food. He can sniff out food/garbage a mile away and will take it to his bed to hide it. His trainer’s are working with him on the “leave it” command and he’s catching on to the request.

Apollo’s trainers love him so much and aren’t ready for “Lover boy” to leave just yet.

Can't Get Enough Of Apollo

Apollo is such a smart and amazing greyhound. He is the sweetest one his trainer has had so far. He can be lazy and loves to hang out in the room. Apollo is not a fan of loud noises and he will run straight to the room to his bed. Apollo is doing great with his commands. He is already working on some extras: Bang bang, kiss, shake, pray, paws up and which hand.

Apollo loves to eat. He seldom plays with toys. He is just a big baby and his trainers love him so much.

Treat Motivated

Apollo is a sweet and loving boy!  His inmate trainer says that Apollo is not only cute, he’s smart and very treat motivated.  Treats always make training a little easier!  Now he also loves attention so his inmate trainer mixes up treat rewards with attention rewards.

The truth is…. Apollo is a little lazy.  He takes retirement very seriously.  He’ll run and play, but not much. Now if you want to offer up a bed, he’s all in and doing his best work.  If you look up couch potato you’ll see Apollo’s photo out to the side.

Sweetness Overload

Apollo is one of the sweetest dogs by far. He is slowly adjusting to his temporary home at the prison and catching on to what is expected of him. He can be quite stubborn at times, but his sweetness makes up for that. He is also very smart.

Apollo is working hard to learn his basic commands and make his new family proud of him. His trainers are enjoying the time with Apollo and know these ten weeks will fly by.

Friendly Boy

Apollo seems to be a pleasant and friendly boy.  His inmate trainer says that whoever had him before he entered the training program took extremely good care of him.  He has a very affectionate personality and is a joy to be around.

He hasn’t got into playing yet, but he’s still adjusting to his new surroundings.  His inmate trainer says she can’t wait to see his personality emerge.
