Big Ole Baby

Lucky’s trainers said he has been a blast to work with. As the weeks have rolled by, his personality came out more and more. He is a big lovable goofball that enjoys attention.

He loves being treated and will get excited, doing his commands, all at once for a treat. He loves showing how excited and happy he gets by giving you a big smile! He is such a smart dog and is truly going to be missed, not only by us, but other inmates and staff too.

Lucky has adjusted well and his trainers are positive he will do the same when he gets to his adoptive family. They will fall in love immediately. He loves cuddling up to you while you just sit and read. Lucky is a big ole baby!

Lucky gets along with all the dogs, so if he has brothers and sisters, he should do fine. Miley was like his sister here and they would share their bed and everything else.

Loving And Affectionate

Lucky is a fun dog to be around. He is very treat motivated and eager to learn anything new. His trainer said this week he learned “Beg” and has gotten better with “Say Your Prayers.” He gets so excited when doing his commands and tricks.

He loves playing with toys some of the time. He really loves playing “Fetch” with the tennis ball. His trainer believes he would be a great dog for a family with kids. You can love and play with him and he enjoys it! He loves to “Roach” in the room when he is relaxed.

Lucky did have a run in with one of the friendly stray cats and he ran from it, because it was chasing him. It was quite the sight to see. He was also chased by a bumble bee and Lucky was freaked out by it.

Lucky does very well with all of the other dogs. The staff loves Lucky. His trainers are going to miss him greatly. He is such a loving and affectionate dog. He loves to be playful but also loves to relax and chill in the room. He has a beautiful smile when he is happy and excited to see people he loves and knows.

During this last week they are going to do all commands without treats. He will do them without, but he doesn’t like too. He likes those yummy treats!

Never Fails To Amaze

Lucky is an amazing dog. He never fails to amaze his trainer. He is a wonderful companion and friend. Lucky is going to be loved dearly by his forever home and his personality will melt your heart. He is such a loving and caring dog and gets along with all of the other dogs.

Lucky has learned a new trick, “Say Your Prayers.” He gets so excited doing it. He goes through his commands and extra tricks with so much ease. They do all of them before bedtime to keep him fresh. He loves to run and chase the tennis ball. He also loves playing with Red, Shasta and Miley outside. They run and play together very well. Lucky and Miley will have cuddle time together in the room. The staff loves Lucky and he loves them.

He has a beautiful smile first thing in the morning when he is so happy. He likes chilling in the room where it is not too loud. He does like going to the day room to visit everyone, go through commands and play. Lucky is so treat motivated.

Lucky loves being bundled up in his blanket when he is cold. He will burrow under them. He is such a sweetheart.

Sweet Loving Boy

Lucky is a very sweet and loving dog. He did very well doing his commands for his swap week trainer. Lucky took to his new trainer during “Swap week” well. He’s a great boy and they enjoyed their time with him.

He is just as sweet as ever.

Wonderful Companion

Lucky is a wonderful dog and companion. He loves attention. He is a very happy dog and loves to smile to show you when he is real excited.

Lucky knows all of his commands and is eager to train especially if he is getting a treat. He loves to run and play outside and his favorite running partners are Shasta, Miley and Red.

Lucky is a ladies man! He will share the big pillows, toys and treats with them. He is a real cuddle bug. He loves chilling in the room and doesn’t like it when it gets too loud in the day room.

Lucky’s trainers are already dreading when the time comes for him to leave because they are attached to this big boy called Lucky.

Lover Boy

Lucky is doing really well. He is such a big baby. He is a goofy, playful dog and also a laid back, chilled dog. He loves playing with toys and other dogs.

Lucky’s trainers have continued working with him on all basic commands and extra tricks. He is extremely smart. You can show him something a couple of times and he figures it out. He is very treat motivated.

Lucky is very attentive and love attention. Lucky is such a lover boy! When he is happy, he will give you that big smile of his. His trainers are definitely going to miss him.

Smiles When Happy

Lucky is such an amazing dog and he is a very playful dog. He loves playing with toys and other dogs. He is very fond of chasing the tennis ball.

Lucky enjoys playing outside so much and is on a schedule, which he knows very well. He does love to chill in the room where it is quiet. He likes being in the dayroom as long as it is not too loud.

They had Show-N-Tell this week, and Lucky showed out!. He is a very loving and affectionate dog. He loves attention from everybody. Lucky also loves his pillows and being covered up when cold. He also likes his black out cover on his kennel at night.

Lucky’s trainers are continuing to work with him on all of his commands this week. He loves to “Smile” when he is happy. He can get super excited when it is feeding time and he will “Bounce” around like a goofball.

Goofy Personality

Lucky is an extremely smart dog. You can teach him a command in no time. All you have to do is show it to him 2 or 3 times and he has gotten it down pat. He is very treat motivated and eager to learn. His trainers are going to work with him on doing his commands without treats.

Lucky loves playing with toys and he likes to keep them to himself, so his trainer is working with him to “give” the toy when asked.

Lucky loves playing outside with the tennis ball. He will chase it and get it rolling on the ground. He doesn’t like the big ball. He plays very well with all dogs. His goofy personality is starting to come out. It is so adorable. When he gets real excited he has a big smile. That will make you laugh.

He is a very loving and affectionate dog that loves getting petted. He also loves to cuddle.

His Smiles Are The Cutest

Lucky is such a wonderful dog. He is such an awesome dog to train. He is very treat motivated. When going downstairs, he goes straight to the training room because he knows that is where he gets treats and his food. He is such a quick learner. Once you show Lucky something a couple of times, he catches on quick and does the command. He is extremely smart!

Lucky was able to run this weekend and he is really fast and playful with all dogs. He loves playing with the tennis ball. He gets really excited in the mornings before potty break and will start smiling… it is the cutest thing ever.

He loves playing with Miley and Red. They are all best friends. He enjoys lounging in the room but also loves to roam in the dayroom when it is quiet. He loves to “Roach” too.

Extremely Smart

Lucky has adapted very well. He is extremely smart and amazes his trainers everyday. He has mastered the stairs on the first day with no problems. He has done excellent with his bath and enjoyed both having his teeth brushed and his ears cleaned.

Lucky has already learned all of his basic commands plus some. He is very treat motivated and loves to be active. He enjoys walking outside and playing with toys especially if they squeak. He tries to destroy the squeaker.

Lucky enjoys a healthy snack of peanut butter and banana in his Kong. He loves to roach on his bed in the room and also lounging on the big beds. He also likes the training room because he knows that is where the food is.

Lucky is great with all of the other dogs. He loves playing with Miley. They both will go back and forth to their rooms. It is so adorable. He also loves Red. He will walk side by side with her. Lucky’s personality is starting to come out. He gets really happy in the mornings around the 7:30 a.m. potty break and will actually smile…it is the cutest thing ever.

His trainers are really enjoying getting to know this wonderful companion. He is so much fun for them to train.
