The Bravest Boy

Jackson is such a funny dog, and he is really going to be missed around Pulaski! He loves to explore; when other dogs will shy away from the maintenance cart he will run over and sniff all around it. Outside he loves watching golf carts and 18-wheelers go by. His trainers haven’t seen him show any fear since he’s been here.

Jackson loves laying on his bed and loves to lay on his pillow. He’s got a toy bird that squeaks and crinkles, and it is his absolute favorite.

Kibble Will Do

Jackson is doing great, just a little stubborn at times, but what dog isn’t. He loves outside and toys that crinkle and squeak. The noisier the better.

Jackson knows his commands but sometimes his trainer will have to use her strong mama voice so he knows she means business. He is very food motivated so his trainer doesn’t need treats during training because his kibble will do. He loves ice too.

Jackson has a very loud bark and gets really excited at playtime and when going outside.

His trainer wants Jackson to be very happy in his new home but will miss him. He is a great dog and is she is glad he will have a forever loving family.

All-Around Great Dog

Jackson is doing great!  He is very laid back, but can go from 0 to 45 mph at playtime.  He knows his commands but at times is a little slow responding, but his trainer will give him a little time and he will follow through.

Jackson enjoys the big ball during playtime and he loves ice.  He can’t eat too much or he will get a brain freeze. LOL He is very well mannered and an all-around great dog.  Jackson’s trainer will surely miss him.

A Keeper

Jackson is doing great at Pulaski. He has his basic commands down pat and knows quite a few extras, like “speak”, “I love you”, “bow” and “kiss”. I bet he learns a few more before graduation.

He’s a sweet boy and loves to play with toys and run outside. Everyone loves Jackson. He has the most beautiful eyes that quickly captures hearts everywhere.

His trainer says he’s a keeper and will be missed when he leaves to go to his forever home. She knows he’s going to make someone very happy!!

Jackson LOVES Treats!

Jackson is doing very well with his commands this week, even on “Heel.”  His trainer is so proud of him.  He loves treats!!!

He loves playtime and exploring outside. There’s so many new sights, sounds and smells to check out.  He gets very excited about this rubber squeaky chicken and hasn’t shown any toy aggression.

Jackson has learned an extra command this week, “Speak.”  His trainer said she can have a treat in her hand and if he knows it, he will hit her leg with his paw and say “Woof.”  His trainer will then tell him to wait, and ask him to “Speak.”  Jackson can be really silly at times, especially when we’re playing “Bang-Bang.”  He has the cutest “sit”.  He sits all the way on his bottom with his legs up a little.

Playful and Loving

His trainer said he has been doing very good with his commands and is very treat motivated. Jackson is slow to do them but is getting better and better every day. He speaks on command and will speak on his own to keep the treats coming. Jackson is such a silly boy!

Jackson is a quick learner. His trainer said when they have play time in the training room Jackson gets so excited and will run in circles. He is a happy boy and not afraid of anything. He like to roach and even snores at times. Jackson is a very playful and loving dog!

Treat Motivated

Jackson is doing good this week. His trainer said he is kind of quiet boy until he is in the playroom with the toys.

He has already mastered the stairs but goes up them slowly. Jackson knows Down, Sit and Bed. They try to at least do all 13 commands repeatedly. Jackson is a sweet, sweet boy. He no longer tries to get into everything, but if he is tempted, he is told no and “leave it”. Jackson is a leaner and walks on the left side of his trainer. She said she has to stop in front of him a little bit, but all in all he is doing really good during his second week. Jackson is kibble and treat motivated, so training this boy is going to be easy peasy.

Sweet Gentle Pup

Jackson is kind of timid around a lot of people and the bean bags when he is coming around them.  Since his trainer lives upstairs by day two, he was good with the stairs No problems there.  Jackson is quiet and sleeps through the night but he likes to sniff and surf for things to see what all he can find. He will sniff the whole yard when out on a potty break.

He is a very loving boy.  He knows the command Down but is reluctant to do it right when you say it, but will follow through. Jackson is going to be a joy to work with.  He is such a gentle pup and will make someone a great forever friend.

Week one is bonding time but he has been doing good with the Down and Bed command.  He is going to do great!
