Loves To Be Rubbed

This week Romeo has been playing with all the dogs. He gets along great with all of them, but his favorite person to see everyday is Jodi.

He loves to lay around on the big pillows. Romeo loves to run through his commands but his favorite thing to do is eat. Everything you have he wants. He will start running through his commands on his own just to try and get a piece of whatever it is you have. He knows his basic commands and so many extra tricks too.

Romeo loves to be rubbed. He will stay around for as long as you will pet him. His trainers will definitely miss him.

Always A Hungry Boy

Romeo acts as though he is always hungry. After he eats, he is looking for more. His training is going very well. They are just fine-tuning his commands, so he’s ready in another week.

He loves to lay out in the day room on one of the big pillows and sleep. Romeo plays extremely well with the other dogs. He is very vocal and loves to say, “I Love You.” When the trainers go through the commands with him, he can be a little stubborn at times.. According to them, just tell him to stop and withhold his treat until he does what is asked of him.

A Real Loverboy

Romeo is loved by everyone in the dorm. He goes from person to person getting love. If anyone has something to eat, he will walk up to them and sit, hoping for a treat.

He knows all commands and many other tricks. The newest trick is “Saying his Prayers.” Romeo catches on quickly to anything. He is super smart. His new family will have no problem teaching him anything. The sky is the limit. His trainers love him and they think that he is the smartest dog they have trained.

Chilled And Relaxed

Romeo was a great dog to work with. He adjusted well to swap week. He knew all of his commands very well right off the rip. He is very treat motivated.

Romeo really is a chilled and relaxed dog. He is on a schedule and definitely knows when feeding times are. He usually likes to play first thing in the morning. He did get to run and play outside and he did very well. He knows the stairs also.

His trainers for the week had a great time with Romeo. He doesn’t like playing with toys but loves to chase other dogs that are chasing toys. He does love laying outside in the sun, but you have to be careful as he will get sun burned easily.

He learned some new tricks and stayed fresh with the ones he already knows. He learned “Which Hand,” “Catch” and “Say Your Prayers.” Romeo performed well at "Show and Tell” in front of the others.

He is a very loving dog and loves attention. Romeo is very easy going and will make somebody a great pet. He does loves his sleep, but does not sleep startle. He would rather be in the room where it is quiet but will mingle in the dayroom and chill on the big beds too.

Counts To Ten

Romeo has been outside this week to run. He plays really well with all the dogs and he is both big and gentle. He is starting to play with different toys but his favorite is the Kong, “anything that involves food.” Romeo is laid back, he will stay right beside you and he loves attention.

Romeo loves to talk. His trainer can sit and say, “what happened?'“ Romeo will speak and roo like he is talking with you. He loves to lay on the big pillows under his blanket. It is wonderful to see how much of his personality is coming out.

He is doing so well with his basic commands and can do many extra tricks as well. He is so smart that he can count to ten!

Romeo’s trainer still believes that he will be a great addition to a family with kids and/or a therapy dog.

"I Love You"

This week was “Show and Tell” and Romeo got to show off all he knows. He did “Bang-Bang” and everyone loved the way he does it. They asked him to do it again.

Romeo has discovered what toys are. He will play with some for a little bit, then just leave it. Romeo roached for the first time this week too. His trainer was extremely excited. Ever since they have taught Romeo to speak and say, “I Love You,” he will just randomly start doing it. At times if she is not paying attention to him he will say, “I Love You.” Romeo is jus too cute!

Willing And Ready

Romeo is such a sweet and loving dog. He loves to lay his head in your lap. He will go up to anyone and lay his head on them just to get them to pet him.

He is most playful first thing in the morning. After an hour or so he is then ready to nap. He is just now figuring out he can play with toys. He loves to play with a tennis ball and every once in a while, you will catch him playing with a squeaky toy. He also will chew on the Nyla bone.

Romeo gets very excited to do his commands to earn that yummy reward. As soon as he knows you have something for him he will automatically start running through his commands without being asked. Silly boy!

His trainer says that Romeo has been the easiest dog she has ever trained. He is always willing and ready to learn. Romeo’s trainer does believe that he would be a wonderful addition to any family, including a family with kids. In addition, she thinks he would be a great therapy dog.

A Wonderful Listener

Romeo is more relaxed and starting to show his playful side. He likes to lay on the big pillows. If your not showing him some attention, he will look at you and bark while throwing his paws in a playful way.

Romeo is just as greedy as ever. He is doing somewhat better about not being in your face while you eat. He looks at you like, “ can’t you share just a little bit with me?” He still doesn’t want to play with toys, but every once in a while he will pick one up and walk around with it.

Romeo is a favorite around the dorm. He wants to visit everyone and they all just love his laid back, calm and loving personality. Lately, Romeo has been playing with the other dogs. First thing in the morning he is more playful, after that he is really chilled out. When he is ready to lay down, he has no problem walking away and going straight to the room.

Romeo is doing wonderful with his commands. He is very treat motivated and will do anything to get that treat. Since he is doing good with his basic commands, his trainers are trying to teach him some extra tricks.

Romeo is the type of dog you can have a conversation with. His trainer says when you talk to him he is really focused on you like he can actually understand you. He is a wonderful listener.

Lover Boy

Romeo is such a lover boy. He loves being around people and letting them love on him. He already knows his basic commands. They haven’t been able to work on “Jump” due to being quarantined in the dorm.

Romeo not only loves to be loved on, he also loves food. His trainers are having to work on leaving people alone when they have food. He seems to think if you are eating, he has got to have some of it too. If you tell him “Bed” or “Leave It” he will leave, but once you move, he is up. It’s a work in progress.

Romeo has this one thing… he loves to be weighed! Every time he goes to the training room he jumps up on the scale. Silly boy!

Last week the trainer mentioned she would keep you posted if she thought he would be great with children. She does believe he will be wonderful with them. His cool, calm demeaner says it all. Romeo is such a smart dog. You can tell he really wants to please you.

Such a Romeo

Romeo lives up to his name. He has captured the hearts of all the women in the dorm. Not just them, but even the ones on the compound. The nurses even stop to see him. He is extremely loving and gentle.

Wow! This boy is smart. He already knows “Kennel,” “Sit,” and “Down.” He gets well with other dogs and he is doing good on the stairs.

Romeo loves to walk around and visit everyone. So far he would rather be around people than play with toys. Once he gets more comfortable, his trainer thinks he will be more playful, but easy to calm.

Romeo likes his food dry, with no extra care. He also likes peanut butter, marshmallows and his dog treats. He is easy to please.
