It's A Beautiful Day With Reggie

Reggie started out the week with just hanging out in the tv room and playing hard with lots and lots of fetch. The weather has been beautiful all week and is supposed to be into the next week, so they will take advantage of being outside. It’s Reggie’s favorite thing.

Reggie’s trainer is working with her on stay, leave it and jump. She knows them, but can be slow to respond. They will continue going to the tv room each day for training, making sure Reggie knows all her commands very well before graduation in a couple weeks. Reggie is a very happy girl and her trainer said it’s been fun training her.

She learned “shake” and now Reggie thinks she has to do it on every command. What a silly girl! She is such a good dog and her trainer has had a lot of fun this session with her. Reggie gives her trainer quite the look when she tells her no. She has a big personality.

Listens Well

Reggie has had a good week. She seems to be getting used to the routine during the week. She knows all her commands well, but needs to improve on stay, jump and leave it. Her trainer has had a lot of fun with Reggie. She is such a loving and sweet dog. Her trainer can’t wait to see what the next few weeks will bring.

Fun Times With Reggie!

Reggie has been a lot more playful this week, especially outside. This girl loves the great outdoors, which can sometimes get in the way of what she is supposed to be doing. Her trainer will tell her “hurry, hurry” to get her back on track.

Reggie is doing very well with her commands. She learned stay and shake this week. Her trainer is working with her on “heel”, which has been a work in progress. She is a smart girl, so her trainer knows she will figure it out soon. Reggie has a favorite toy. It’s a chocolate chip cookie. It’s old and chewed up, but she loves it. It’s a good toy to play fetch with.

Let's Go Outside

It’s been a good week!  Reggie is starting to get comfortable in her new environment.  She’s playing with toys and learning “give”.  Her inmate trainer says that Reggie is very easy on toys and her personality is starting to come out.  She’s a sweet girl who catches on to new things easily. She loves to be outside and she’s ready to head to the door.  They’re working on the “wait” command so that she doesn’t pass the threshold without permission.  She loves the other dogs especially Dave.  They sit or lay around in the TV room together.  She’s treat motivated which makes training easier.  Her inmate trainer says she can’t wait to see Reggie’s personality come out!

Reggie Loves Her Kennel
