Ralph Loves His Rubber Pig

Ralph loves, loves, loves his rubber pig. It’s his favorite. He also loves balls and of course any and all things that squeak. He knows all his commands and is ready show off all he has learned while in training. He has been a little hard-headed this week, but his trainer believes he knows a change is coming soon. Ralph’s trainer loves him and is surely going to miss him.

Sweetheart!

It’s been an incredible week for Ralph. He knows all of his commands with no problems. His inmate trainer is now working on a few extra commands such as “leave it” and “shake””. The latter is a work in progress!

Ralph loves the other Greyhounds in the program but Danny seems to be his favorite. Ralph gets so excited when Danny is let out of his kennel. He and Danny love sharing a dog bed in the rec area.

Ralph is a very sweet and loving dog. He loves to be loved on as well. And he returns that love by laying his head on his inmate’s lap.

Happy Ralph

It’s been a great week with Ralph.  His inmate trainer says that he’s really coming into his own.  He’s full of happiness and seems to have found his happy puppy side.  His inmate trainer says it’s been truly great watching Ralph open up.  He’s a loving boy who loves to talked to and praised for a job well done.  He plays well with other dogs.  He knows all of his commands.  They’re working on the “shake” which he’s catching on to.  His inmate trainer says that being around Ralph and having the opportunity to train him has been big blessing.

It's Time To Play Fetch

Another good week in the books with Ralph. He is really coming along with his commands and he pretty much knows all the basics well. “Stay” is a work in progress, but he should have it mastered very soon.

Ralph has been very playful this week, even during their training sessions. He’s been acting like a puppy, running around, playing fetch and going from bed to bed in the tv room. Ralph is showing more personality as the weeks pass. He’s such a sweet and loving dog. Someone is going to be really lucky to adopt Ralph.

Very Happy Boy

Ralph had a good week. He is doing amazing with all of his commands. He still needs to improve on stay and heel, but his trainer is putting in extra work on those two.

Ralph enjoyed his run with his buddy Danny on the field this week. He was so happy. Ralph has the best personality and is super loving. He likes to give love.

Ralph gets so excited when coming out of his kennel and does a cute happy dance. His trainer said they are going to have another great week. They can’t wait to see the new things in Ralph and all his progress.

Busy Week With Ralph

Ralph and his trainer have done quite a bit this week. He and his trainer went out on the big field and enjoyed a trot around it. He has been playing with his toys a lot and loves the ones that make noise. Ralph is very treat and toy motivated and is doing great with his commands. He has been working on sit, down and bed this week. Next week they will work on heel, stay and an extra “shake”. Check back to see Ralph’s progress.

Catching On To Commands

Ralph’s first week in training has been a big adjustment for this sweet boy.  His inmate trainer says Ralph seems to be a shy guy who is unsure of this new place.  His inmate trainer says that her first goal is to help Ralph feel confident and comfortable.  He’s already catching on to some commands and is starting to enjoy squeaky toys.  His sweet personality shines through his shyness.  He loves to be petted.  He gets along really well with the other dogs in the program.  His inmate trainer says that she can’t wait to watch Ralph grow and learn over the next few weeks!
