A Born Entertainer

It's been a fun, exciting week here with Bonnie. She's one of the sweetest dogs her trainer has ever met. Since this week was swap week, it took the first couple of days for her to come out of her shell around her secondary trainer, but once she did he never wanted to give her up. She didn't show any signs of separation anxiety, which will help the transition into her forever home. One of his favorite things about her is how playful she is when she was outside. Bonnie is definitely one to take to the local dog park to run around. She will love you forever for it! Bonnie also enjoys to entertain. She has a very cute roo/bark that is sure to make anyone smile. If you're looking for a sweet, loving, obedient greyhound to be a faithful companion forever and ever, then Bonnie is your girl. Her swap week trainer said he's thankful for the week he's got to spend with her.

Ready For The Next Step... Forever Family

Bonnie is ready to show how sweet and smart she is.  It's swap week coming up and her trainer knows she will do fine.  She knows all of her commands and does them very well.  She especially likes to "speak".  She is friendly with everyone and loves to get attention, so her trainer thinks she will have a good time during swap week.

Soon, Bonnie will be off to her forever home.  Her trainer will definitely miss her.  I hope you are excited to meet sweet Bonnie, because it's almost time...

You Have A Friend In Bonnie!

Bonnie had a great week and got to show off her commands in the classroom for a new audience.  She likes new people and loves attention, so of course, she did very well on all of her commands and even posed for the camera.  She was super excited and showed off with her signature "roo"!

A few more weeks and Bonnie is off to her new family.  Her trainer will be sad to see her go, but glad she has a forever home to go to.  Are you ready for a playful, loving girl?  She is definitely ready for "Roo"!

Ready for Love!

Bonnie is doing well and knows her commands - she even bows all the time in anticipation of getting a treat for it. Her last show and tell went great and she is getting used to doing commands for different people. The secondary trainer will be doing the next show and tell and most of the training sessions along with her alternate before she gets loaned out for swap week. Her trainer misses her already. He hopes you are ready for a sweet loving dog, because she is ready for you!

Brains, Beauty, Greyt Personality

Are you looking for a smart, fun and playful greyhound?  Then look no further.  Bonnie is your girl!  Here it is, week five, and she already knows all of her basic commands.  She's got brains and beauty!

Every Friday, the trainers and their greyhounds do testing on the commands.  They go through the basic commands to see how well they know them.  You should have seen Bonnie!  She did very well and her trainer was so proud of her.  Bonnie is very treat motivated.  She loves food and it doesn't matter what kind either.  She's a real chow hound.  LOL

Get ready for play time with Bonnie!  She loves it!  She enjoys a little keep-away.  Once you toss it away from you, she will run after it, grab it and toss it in the air before catching it.  She will play with you as long as you toss a toy.

Bonnie will let you know she is happy to see you when you have been gone for a little while.  She will "roo".  It will definitely put a smile on your face.  Take care until next time...

Funny Girl

Bonnie is doing great and will now speak on command! It is adorable when you hear her deep "roo" coming out of such a small playful girl. We are working on bow now and she is learning quickly. She does all her basic commands and is in the stage of fine-tuning them. Her big yard runs are lots of fun to watch. She is very fast, but usually does not run in long straight sections, preferring to loop around and dive bomb people and dogs that are waiting their turn. Bonnie is so sweet and tons of fun!

"Roo" To You

Bonnie has done very well this past week and is coming out of her shell and is becoming more confident.  First thing in the morning she likes to jump around and do a little "happy dance".  She sometimes will "roo" with excitement.  She has a very deep "roo" for a tiny girl.  Her trainer loves it when she does it and hopes he can get her to do it on command.

Bonnie's other commands are progressing well.  She knows most of them fairly well.  She's a smart girl.  Stair training was this week.  She was a little unsure of them the first time, but the more she does them the better she gets.

Bonnie is an adorable girl with a great personality.  Her forever family is going to love her to pieces!

The Joy of the Squeaky Toys

Bonnie had a great second week and discovered the joys of squeaky toys! She was a little unsure about them at first but now has a blast with her three favorites - a fox, elephant and whale. Her commands are going well also, as she learns quickly and is very motivated by food. Bonnie is fascinated by everything around her so her trainer does have to get her attention sometimes. But there's just so much to look at! He is looking so forward to the next 8 weeks with Bonnie. She has a very sweet personality and cute facial expressions to match!

Silly Dancer

Bonnie is a sweet little greyhound that is getting used to her new environment.  Her trainer can already tell she is very smart and he's excited to train her.  During intake Bonnie was pampered.  She got a bath, nails trimmed, ears cleaned and towel dried.  She did great!  She was calm and loving through the whole process.

Bonnie has learned "kennel" and "bed" right off the bat.  She is very food motivated, which will make training very easy.  Bonnie gives everyone a good laugh when it's time to "hurry".  After going potty,  she does a crazy dance and jumps in the air.  She's quite the clown.  A cute one at that.
